last time I checked surrey was fighting for relegation an we trimmed the team down to 29 an let u have the dead weight...who u going to be joining with next year sporting???

Ha Ha Happy Gilmore you are a funny one indeed my friend. I gurantee that if we had the sqaud we have now, at the start of the season, there is no way surrey would be at the bottom. I know for sure we would be up there with columbus and metro-ford.

Don't get ahead of yourself there champ. Your team has improved, but you are nowhere near the quality of the top 5 teams.
That's a pretty ridiculous statement, I must say.
Nowhere near as consistent, this season, as the top 4 teams, is far more accurate.
But who knows.. look at Sporting and SU this season. Last year they were right at the top and this year it is quite the opposite. and last year West Van and MF were grinding at the bottom, and this year are competing for the title.
I'm pretty sure I watched West Van vs. Sporting in the league final (winner of A vs. winner of B) last year... How does that qualify as WV grinding at the bottom?

In terms of quality of players we are right up there with the top FOUR! but with consistency we struggle this season! By far columbus are the best team in the league by a country mile, Metro-ford arent anything special, as we showed when Surrey drew 1-1 with them, with like 3 of our players missing. We play west van next week so we will see with them as well. Player for player we are up there, just have to be more consistent.
Thats what makes the good teams even better, they are consistent and even if they do manage to lose one game they bounce back the next... it doesnt matter how good of a team you have, look at Real Madrid and Chelsea... they have the best teams on paper as you are stating you have but they dont always manage to win. Yes you guys have improved alot but to say that you belong up there with Columbus and Metro Ford is going a bit too far.
Now if you manage to get the two Irish players who played for seaquam for the rest of the season then it would be a different story... then the league would be on alert

Besides KNVB!! I used to skip class and go watch KNVB's 89' Fraser Valley qualifying VHS tapes in the back of the auditorium. Just watching that ginger patrol the field against Frank Hurt makes my hair stand on end!
On a side note: Its KNVB's BIG BD celebration! Yets all meet at Boston Pizza in Cloverdale for Pitchers of Molson. Vinny will bring the viagra and the Frant Hurt girls.

West Van 3 MF 2. MF scored a pk in dying mins to make it 3-2. Both teams also hit the bar. Fair result.
In the West Van/MF game, the referee added, yes, seven minutes, 45 seconds of time at the end. Many people call that injury time, but in this game, no one was injured. The head official then awarded MF a PK at the 6 minute 30 second mark of added time and at that point the game was at 3-1 score. And of course he tacked on a yellow, and made a very nice display of running around getting noticed, blowing his whistle just after the PK, waving his arms in the air.

Just embarassing by us today... wrong time of the season to show up to the game without 7 starters missing to various reasons.... still no excuse... they were up 2-0 at half with the second of the goals a pk after our keeper took down their striker on a very questionable call... they then proceeded to score another one 15 mins into the second half and then got three in the last 10 mins... Our goalie Jovan played well through out the game.
