No surprises with any of the other games aswell....You see, Ingoalforever...it's a thankless job.. :D unless you can do everything a spider can..... ;) Personally Id be happy to walk without a limp... :D

RF - Coach, we'll see you lot Friday @ the Oval for a bevie!!...Unless this monsoon keeps up and the Oval turns into a Bird Sancutuary...

Pretty quite in here boys...anyone up for a few predictions for the weekend.... :)

Rangers/FF VS AllBlacks
Friday Nite Special and the ballsacks are in tough this week against the newly crowned Western Canadian Champs...The boys in Black are pumped to show they can compete with the big boys and The SCOUT will be working overtime :D

P.A.U. VS Delta
Unless P.A. is mentally damaged from last weeks loss I think they will still be too much up front for Delta to handle...should be a good tilt regardless.

Sapp VS Alderbush
Offense VS Defence in this one...Aldergrove always dangerous up front but Sapperton always tough to crack...could come down to Goalkeeping...edge Sapperton, with Rangerforevers lipstick still fresh on Tony's cheeks. ;)

ScUm VS G.E.U.
Can this be the upset of the week...sometimes ScUm drops one right when we least expect it....G.E.U doesnt have the firepower to out score them like Aldergrove or the Goalkeeping to stop every shot..Like Academico of a year ago. ScUm should register another win.

Out

Well someone had to respond to OnlyOnePegLeft
The poor bugger has taken to talking to himself.

AllBlacks take on Rangers @ 8:00 PM @ TheOval for this weeks FridayNightSpecial. Who knows what will happen, they may be the Champs but AllBlacks may surprise them this week.
Looking forward to a good tilt and a few pints at The Rendezvous after.
Predictions for the other three contests;
PAU will tie DMU. Stalemate.
Aldergrove will beat Sapp. The Kiwi to score.
ScUm will beat GEU. Sorry, no miraculous goals,
even with Angela in the pipes.

I guess the Monkey needs to take part.

FireRangerFighters will beat the AllBlacknBlues - 4 - 1

PAU will edge out DuMb U - 2 - 1

Aldergrope and Sapp will tie 2 - 2

And GEU will just be honoured to be on the same field as Scurvey Invited. We expect to be the victims of a total wipeout and will consider it a victory if no-one falls victim to "The Move."

Sapp will beat the grove by Two.(love ya Tony)

Delta to upset Pau by One.

Rangers might win a squeaker with a very short bench and no goalie. :(

Thanks Bully for all of the arangements and the early Kickoff!(Gotta love friday nights over a cold rainy Sunday morning)

Good luck this weekend.

So what were the outcomes from the 2 Friday Night specials?

Also, when the hell is the league going to sort out the schedule for Masters? They have last week and this week up for the next 2 weeks which I realize is filler due to us only having 8 teams but not everyone is as smart as, erm, me :D

Big match tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see how we cope without our leading goalscorer and Pete too. At least we get Aves back... :D

Rangers 2 AllBlacks 0

A very tight non eventful first half that really could have put the crowd to sleep.

Second half things picked up and Andy got us two huge goals.

The AllBlacks were very good hosts at the Rendeview Pub.

Both teams ended up at Gabby's with what can only be described as a Gong Show!

Thanks Bully for your teams hospitality.

I think our two teams actually get along quite well.

Come on GEU

Rangers 2 AllBlacks 0

Well Coach, I wouldn't say that the first half was a sleeper. AllBlacks hung on like grim death for the first 15 minutes while Rangers put on a clinic. The tide turned towards the end of the half when AllBlacks ShoudaCouldaWoulda finished 2 or 3 good chances. I faced the grim task of marking Barry for the first 150 miles. I'm pretty sure I won't be getting a Christmas card from the lad, as the only way to deal with the big man is to get in his face.
Rangers scored 2 nice goals in the second half. Nice to finally have a shower after a FridayNightSpecial and having both teams at the Rendezvous was great. Thanks for the support Coach.

As for Gabbys late night Gong Show, that took me back to Langley in the 80's where anyone with short hair was a target for abuse.
Think I'll pass on that horror show in 2 weeks. Cheers Rangers.

Yes Sundays at home on miserable wet days are great.
So is a FridayNightSpecial followed by pizza and beer.
Think I'll crack a carbonated hop like beverage and watch the Utd-Spurs game I taped. Until next week, Rover and out. :D

Maybe you boys can push for an indoor climate controlled piece of turf that you could eat off...that way your boots will never get dirty. :p

by the way, 8-2 result today ...nuff said.

Tough to add to Aves post as it was a pretty uneventful game... they went up 1-0 early and then, well, it got ugly...

Fat Monkey got a up close view of the move and didn't fall for it :D
