A "spirited" (if you can call it that) match from the Firefighter's keeper last night. Not sure if Walks tossed him or if his coach pulled him. Either way, he didn't look too happy.

That was from smashing your head on the ground after letting in the weak one to tie it up late! P.S. we all know who you are!

S.U. 5 - Peg 1. S.U.'s fitness, possesion and finishing at a different level than Pegs. Nonetheless it was good run for us and it was very nice to get a game in after missing 6 weeks in a row.

Champions League over the Holidays

Inter 3 PAU 3
The cob webs and beer belly's took a while to shake for both teams... Without a game played in December for either club, you can understand why the match wasn't exactly entertaining football... A fair result in the end with Inter getting 2 cracks at the same free kick and PAU getting a goal from what looked to be an offside position... A few chances missed at both ends this could have been 6-6... A clean game with everyone coming away satisfied...

Second leg at South Surrey Athletic
Thursday Dec. 28th
PAU with 3 away goals!!! ;)

What time is kickoff for that one?

PS...Why was your post titled "Champions League over the Holidays", anyway?

Oh, OK then thanks. Was a bit bewildered at the Champions reference.

Champions League over the Holidays

PAU 0 Inter 0

PAU goes through on the away goal rule
(3-3 draw on match day 1)

Overall another good battle between two teams trying to remain game shape for the re-start of the 06/07 season... PAU with the better of the chances in the first and like last week Inter coming into it more in the second... It was nice to play a team that likes to knock it around and work hard off the ball... Inter is a solid team and we (as a lowley FVSL) are happy with the result, but more pleased with the effort on another cold night...

Happy New Year all.

Beer belly bowl 06'

SU came out on top 2-0. Shocking game really, for us for sure. Dunno enough about Aldergorvoe to say, but it beats the piss out of doing fitness, I guess.

PS.

If anyone finds my Hammies laying around the Cloverdale area please let me know. Cash reward.

Guinness,

I know it was a friendly over the holidays......but is Kuschy playing with you guys now? I thought he was playing in the Richmond League with the Dragons. If so, great pickup, probably the most difficult man to mark in the Province.

Happy New Year all.

The Dutch travelling band made the long trip to South Surrey last night. Weather was colder than a kiss from your mother-in-law.

Our man Guinness neglects to mention that the visitors successfully won the penalty shootout at the end of the match. So much for away goals...

PAU are a good bunch with great spirit. Definitely gave Inter something to think about. Inter missed Corrazza's finishing (off getting fat and happy on a cruise ship) and a couple of other regulars. Thank the lord Inter did not get into the homo erotic calendars like PAU. Ivan Lee in print would be too much to bear (or bare?)

All and all, the series was far better than training.

To all the TTPers (especially Skanky),

Gelukkig Nieuw Jaar!:D
