JOHNSON JOHNSON JOHNSON!!!!!

It is funny, I think that St. Lou has gone through as many keepers this year as Peg has, both still trying to find a keeper that can stop the easy ones. What is the G.A.A. for both teams Zenga.

I think it would have been funnier if they started chanting Osgood's name, that would be a great piss take after everything that has been going on with the Blues Keeping this year.

As for tommorow's game, I think it will be on with all the rain, but i have not seen the field closures yet.

What witty chants can the fans have for Belfore on Sat. night.
Well he did try to bribe a Cop while drunk one time, I think he offered 1 Million Dollars.
Bring some Monopoly money for Belfore on Sat night.

from one of the best websites ever - JocksNCops.com

03/21/2000 FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- No amount of money, it seemed, could keep Ed Belfour out of jail.

The Dallas Stars goalie first offered Dallas police officers $100,000, then $1 billion, if they would not jail him in connection with a scuffle earlier this month at a hotel, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

An arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the newspaper for today's editions, describes the fan favorite who helped the Stars win the Stanley Cup last season as intoxicated and combative, spitting in one officer's face following his arrest.

Police had to spray Belfour with Mace, but the 34-year-old continued to resist them, kicking two officers in the chest as they tried to restrain him, according to the report.

It stated that later in the police cruiser, Belfour began ``begging'' officers not to take him to jail by offering them $100,000, then progressively higher amounts until reaching $1 billion.

Belfour was scheduled to appear March 29 before Dallas County Criminal Court Judge Phil Barker on charges of misdemeanor assault on a hotel security guard and resisting arrest.

After missing five games following his arrest, the goalie returned on Saturday in Chicago, preserving a 2-2 tie. He then won his 29th game of the season on Sunday against San Jose. He is among the NHL's leaders with a 2.09 goals-against average.

Belfour has been apologetic to fans and the team since returning to play. But the arrest documents paint a different picture of the player following his appearance at The Mansion on Turtle Creek.

The goalie, who arrived with a woman who later left the Dallas hotel, placed a 50-year-old employee in a headlock and kicked at officers, prompting them to spray him with Mace.

Following his arrest, he continued to be uncooperative -- placing his cowboy boots on the squad car's radio console despite police orders to sit up and place his feet on the floor, according to the affidavit. It stated that Belfour then vomited across his chest.

The document stated that Belfour began to kick wildly when police tried to remove his feet from the console. After spitting at one officer, Belfour struggled as others tried to restrain him and then jerked backward, hyperextending one of the officer's thumbs.

At the jail, Belfour needed help to stand ``due to his intoxication'' while he was being searched, and ``became combative'' when officers tried to escort him to see a nurse, the report stated. The player spent six hours in police custody before being released on bond.

Belfour's spokesman, David Margulies, released a previous statement in which the player apologized for the March 8 events and declined further comment on his lawyers' advice.

Here is a picture of Eddie, presumably after he washed the puke off his face and chest:

Whatever the fans chanted it didn't work. Belfour made some pretty good saves tonight. I thought Auld looked good tonight as well but I didn't realize how big he is. 6'4 190. Can't be any other goalies around that are that big. Maybe Burke?

For a " Goalie" you Red headed putz. I forgot that you were the second coming of Paul Bunyon. Everybody seems so smalll in that little fantasy world between your two big ears.:D

Back on topic the Canucks better win a couple games here or they could find themselves playing STL in the first round. Only winning 2 out of there last nine games isn't helping.

Bert with the Trick, Auld Very Solid, Nice Tie Crow

Good performance for the Nucks after a shocking 1st period, great decision by coaching staff to go with Auld in the Pipes, he is playing well, and looks very calm in some high pressure games.
Like Skudra, but have to go with the kid and not rush back Clouts who has a Over-Use injury on the knee due to his butter-fly position in goal.

Bert tried to get Nazzy the pass for the open net goal, but they are now tied with 42 each.

May being out for the St.Lou game might be a good thing, it does not give any extra incentive for the Blues who will still be pissed with Tkachuk out 3-4 weeks with a sprained wrist.

Lov'n the 6 points up on the Aves, after they dropped two big games on Sat and Sun on the road, with only 10 games left.

Big win for the boys!!!!!

I say Skudra goes to the Moose and Auld stays up, its not all his fault but Auld is playing better.

May Have to Go with 3 Keepers

I think that Auld should start tonight if Clouts is not absolutly 100% ready to go.
As for Skudra going to the Moose, the problem is, he would have to go through waivers, I can see many teams trying to pick him up, mabey even a team that faces the Nucks in the Play-offs, just to fukc with us.
Have to keep Skuds up, but play the young kid while he is hot.

Nazzy to go after a Hat Trick tonight and get to 45 goals.

Burke said this morning that Auld will be heading down to the Moose when and if Cloutier is 100%! However with no roster limits at this time of the year that could change, but Skudra is not going down.

As for the game tonight, look for a big effort from the Blues.........but the pressure will be on Osgood and and early goal could bring out the boo birds and the Nucks could sneak out of there with 2 points!

I think who the back up is irrelevant at this point. If Clouts cant play for whatever reason, the playoff run will be brief. They need a first string goalie for a deep playoff run (not that Im saying Clouts is top tier yet) , so who opens the gate during playoff games is moot.

No problem DI. Putz. I'm actually impressed that I could even type. Hopefully I see more of the game tonight. We'll see if Clouts can regain his top form right away. He had a bit of an injury hangover last time and needed a few weeks to get himself back in the groove. Go Nucks. Prediction: 3-2 Vancouver. KNVB is a putz.

Singin the Blues.....

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, got to watch most of the game last night and while you could see that Clouts was a little rusty, it certainly wasn't his fault on the loss. The team looked tired, and their defensive coverage was terrible. Too many mental mistakes, ie sloppy line changes, poor pass choices, just too many spectators last night when it came to the defensive side of the game. On the plus side, the Sedins seem to finally be showing why they went two/three in the draft. That was probably their best effort yet. Hopefully it can continue into the playoffs.

Good to see Naslund keep pace with Big Bert. But I'm still not convinced he's out of his slump yet -- that goal should (would) have been saved by any playoff tender. Bert's, on the other hand, was magic -- classic power to the net and finess tip in.
