The game was 0-0 and they boys pulled it out on spoters!

Ps. The ladies took the bronze in a 5-1 walk.

Congrats to the young Peg guys...! Apparantly 90 km/hr winds, Eagles says London was on fire against a big, strong side, stopped 1 PK and they missed on another and he was all over all of their efforts...

Dunno. Apparently it is an "awsome" feeling to have scored one, though.

Huge congrats to Peg! That was a rather comprehensive performance, going 5-0 (the only team with a perfect record) in six days. Amazing stuff. If PEI doesn't already have an asshole, Peg will probably tear it one during the next 24 hours. Break out the webcam. The record for "longest, drunkest table slide" could be shattered by 4pm.

Anyways, well done again you flying horses.

PEGASUS WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

After winning the first 4 round-robin games, Pegasus FC ran into a gritty and determined Ottawa Royals team in the final for the National Championship. After a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation time, and 30 more minutes of extra time, the game--and the championship--had to be decided on penalty kicks. Gavin Frey, Paul Dailly, Robin Regnier, and player-of-the-match Jamie Fiddler scored from the penalty mark for the BC champions, while goalkeeper Steve London made a superb save en route to a 4-3 penalty kick victory. It should be noted that the Ontario champions missed their last penalty kick. THE ENTIRE VMSL FRATERNITY CONGRATULATES PEGASUS FC ON A FINE VICTORY!! WE ARE ALL VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!

Will the boys make last call at the Roxy tonight, or are they flying back in the morning?

This is Eagles (B-RAD), the key to this victory this week besides all the players was the management!!!

Mastro and Eagles did the job!!! There were many nights where Eagles was done but Mastro needed Peg Wing Man!!! Eagles was there for him.

It was great to see Davey do an outstanding job this week. This win was for all the old Peg Boys all the way back to Jim B. and the Big Bear Kick!!!

Great final to watch!!! Wind was blowing and the Flying Horses were outstanding!!!

To Shorty and Burrsy who were red carded today, we could not have done it without you!!! You are great centre backs and do a great job jabbing the opposition.

Davey and myself have to play over 30's next week, hopefully I am still on the team.
