not sure what is wrong with late games - most guys i know who play hockey play after 9PM... i know some guys who play after midnight, midweek!
until that happens, i don't think it really matters....

It will happen, ACBC is scheduling games at 10 on Wednesdays, just friendlies right now but it will happen. My dad and most of the guys he knows quit playing hockey for that very reason, used to have good times and paid more for them, but then kept getting pushed back later by the kids but still having to pay the premium and so they stopped playing. I really really hope it doesn't come to late weeknight games.

differenceis soccer fields are easier to build than arenas.. likely you won't see that happen with footy

So better late than never, the always great Power Rankings are in. Nothing really to note, although the Westcoast boys will be happy they made the jump from 10 to 7. No really big shakeups, the top basically staying the same. Hopefully a big win this weekend will help our goal differential and close the gap with PCNC and the Rams. Discuss.

I would like to know as well as peace arch has one more goal and 3 less goals against then westcoast

if you haven't notice these rankings mean shite.
peace arch should be ahead, but when you have the most suspended players in the league your power ranking goes up. More yellow and red cards the higher your ranked. One of our players has the most yellows in the league.
We have played like shite and won't have any change as 5 out of our starting 11 will be the next couple of games. Have fun the teams playing us lucky you guys.

It is kind of weird, and since the FVSL site is down again I can't look to give you an answer, as from what you guys say PA should be ahead. Have they both played 9 games? It doesn't really matter as I'd say only the top 6 have a chance at the cup anyway

OK, I must have put some numbers in wrong as there's no way Westcoast should be ahead of PA. No point in redoing them as the games are starting tonight so they'll have a nice drop in next weeks Power Rankings.

The site is running fine now, and yes they've both played 9 games. As for the top 6, you're probably right. The main advantage the top teams have over Peace Arch is they are putting the puck in the net more. I would argue however that our defense and goaltending is as strong as any team in div. 2, and can shut down any offense we face. The cup games will be interesting for sure.
