It is great to wake up each morning....yawn realize I am healthy, fit and have a great job. Oh, and just for some advance warning to Poco City United, due to the chronic closure of Kwantlen Upper, I believe the game is being moved to NAP at 8 PM on Saturday. I even think Bigbag will be getting PO'd at Whalley at this point.

Hate to clutter up this thread with some soccer results but...
ND Titans 2 - SFC Wheelhouse 0
We did a really good job controlling the tempo of the game tonight I thought. There was about a 15 minute lapse where we allowed them to move the ball around us like we were div 5, but after that we settled it down and popped in 2 almost identical goals, both off perfectly thrown balls into the 18 that were headed in. Surrey moved the ball around well but never really generated any quality chances. A good start to round #2.

Wolves beat Bullets tonight 4-1....looks like the Wolves are on a roll
Game Result tonight @Cloverdale Ath; LUFC Wolves - 4 Surrey Bullets - 1.
Score was tied 0-0 at the half and then Wolves popped 3 goals in in about 15 minutes of the 2nd half.Missing our reg. C/B and sweep but we got the payback to the 1st game of the season. No kicking our goalie in the head this time but the same whiny dancer was slapping people. I don't usually say this but too much whining and crying from them.They gooned it up in the 1st game so a bit of it came back to them.
Next week's game is @ 5:00 PM Kickoff Langley MAP Turf and Fish Bowl vs the Mighty (walk on water) Rams. It should be a very good test. Saw them play Whalley and they should have won that game by 2 or 3. We will try to help WHA out next week !!! Good Luck to the other 2B teams this weekend !!

would have been nice to have played the whole game with 11 men.
we were awful in the first half playing with 9 guys, most of which playing out of position.
i think we carried most of the play in the 2nd half, too bad we couldnt capitalize.
i also don't think i've ever seen so much blood come out of someones nose, was it a break?
No it didn't break. Not even bruised actually. As for carrying the play in the 2nd half, I think you had one shot the whole game, and that came off a free kick. We went up 3 - 0 about 20 minutes in and continued to generated a ton of chances. You have to agree it could have easily been 6 - 0 at the half.

Dewdney Celtic 1 Langley Knights 0. Finally the Celtic showed some heart and were able to come out with a win. As for Langley they completely embarassed themselves after the game. The keeper took his jersey and goggles off put on a spare jersey and came up to the ref and started swearing in his face, then received a red card. Then a handful of other players, including their coach started yelling at the ref luckily he didn't give them any cards. Then as the ref is walking back to his car the team proceeds to yell at him. This is absolutely embarassing, and people wonder why we don't have any new refs coming into the league.
