Did anyone notice that rather embarrassing team on the pitch to the south of this game - ie the one with the guys with the man buns and teal and seafoam pastel kit that had all of the apparently well rehearsed Barcelona winning the UEFA Champions league celebrations ie singing ole and frolicking running across the pitch and skidding on their collective knees at the sideline and glowing kisses to both of their adoring fans? They had VMSL Champions on tee shirts had they made up? This was definitely not MF...so what gives...?

OMG. Campo?
Hahahahahah.
VMSL champions?
I hope it said division 2 in the same size lettering.
Such an underdog they get t shirts made?

I hope soccer coach is the Latino partner and not the Italian one.

Congrats Metro Ford! Great club and team!

I see that Campo Atletico's fame and fortune has made to highest levels of excellency.
A couple of clarifications:
1) VMSL executive graciously provided the shirts. It is a nice touch from them.
2) I saw the Premier Cup Final, and it was rather disappointing from the tactical point of view.
3) The celebrations were lots of fun!... and rather spontaneous... We had a good time and our supporters too!
We love our uniform (it is different rather than the dull white/black of other teams)
4) I agree. Premier level has decreased. It is not the same as many years ago.
5) Current Campo squad can defeat Coquitlam Metro Ford or West Vancouver if given the opportunity. Our guys have more heart and love for our shirt and club. I know all you are going to jump up and down and dismiss the comment, but at the end none of those two teams would dare to have a game with us. They know that the perennial underdogs can bring them down.
In fact, I do offer them a public challenge for a game, but they will chicken out.

The collective work and spirit of Campo players can bring down any top team in the province.

I actually am starting to think that Soccer Coach does get this "Take the Piss" thing...The only difference has been that so far he has delivered. This latest last rant can only continue to drive more traffic to this site... good on you and the Campo squad. Sorry for the Hijack..... This should be in the Div 2 Cup.

NO.....NO..... NO..... NO..... YOU HAVE NOT SEEING EVERYTHING.

You have not seen a Coquitlam Metro Ford or West Vancouver tie or get beaten by a well organized and determined division 2 team. I am serious about the challenge, but I also know that they will avoid it with excuses, because they know that it is possible that they lose because the gap is not that big.

It is impossible to get up for a game when your playing a team multiple divisions below your level. It would be your World Cup and for them a meaningless game against players way below their level.

Soccer coach you have zero idea. Glad you won a rec B cup. Congrats. Now go back and put that head back in your ass.

Earn the game vs them. Get your team to that level and you'll get your chance.
But right now your a B champ and not on anyone's radar, other then your TTP bullshit you spew.

Back to imperial cup chat.
When is the last team that has done the treble? Has it been done?

Thanks

Well said Lion. Earn your right to play them.

2009 WV was the last team win the treble I think. It's on my business cards. It had been done by Westside I think before us and maybe one other team that I can't remember

Westside 1999-2000 I think may have been the last League/Imperial/BC Treble Winners... I am not entirely sure if anyone has done it in recent years.

We did the Imperial/BC/Canada treble in 2004 which is much more impressive.
