Big changes in Div 2, Firemen "C" have been moved up to Div 1A, which is by far the weaker of the Two Div one sides.
Three new teams in Div 2, Squamish FC, Yaletown FC, and MacDonald Realtors..plus a fourth team...called Cleo's FC, who I think may just be a name change.
I wonder where Squamish will have there home field....
Clan has dropped out of Div one...and merged with Columbus...

Cleo's is defintely a name change. We played them last year at that's the name/ logo on their shirts. Great sponsorship program one can only assume. Wonder if they need a keeper?
The 2 division 1 sides look a bit unequal but what can the league do. Rejig the divisions. It will be fine like this and it will only be unequal for a year until the 3,4,5 teams switch side.

So which of last year's teams has changed their name to Cleo's? it is either PWC or United Nationals.
...With all the damn shuffling going on, Azzi and co should sort out the 3 groups in Div 2. A mandate that, based on the standings from the upcoming season, the bottom 3 teams plus a 10th(the 4th place team with the worst kit) will form the Div3 side for 05/06....

United Nationals I believe. Power Rangers were a different team.
As for your division 3 suggestion, nice idea but why not go to DIv 1,2,3,4,5. and premier. That makes the up down arrangements easy and for Div 2 and lower you don't get some of the shellackings you used to. I realize this has been discussed before but maybe it should be brought up again. 14 in Premier if they like that, 10 in each other division with 2 up 2 down. Make it pretty interesting each year.

With all of your comments, i'm guessing you're looking forward to division 3, 4, or 5. you're all for the realignment of the league, and then you make a crazy predicition for your top 10 finish. Good luck!
As far as DCR/Fiji is concerned, it should be a good season as long as the weather stays in the 25C - 35C range!

My point on top 3 finish is what does that get you if you don't win it.
No, I'm not looking forward to Div 3,4,5. I just think it is ridiculous to have two sides in Div 1 and 3 sides in div 2. It would make more sense to me to have divisions 1-5 and premier then to have split side etc. The Valley when i played there was Div 1-whatever and it worked well. As for a top 10 finish , that's a given as there are 10 teams in our group. I think we'll be a top half side but hard to say until we start playing some of the teams we haven't payed before.

100% confirmed that Sportstown is not involved anymore and that the name of the Premier squad will be simply Firemen.
Also heard that the premier team will be coached by Skinner and assistant coach is Niall... Skinny is a quiet guy while Niall, well, he isn't
