J_B:

I've heard the Peg game could be at Newton if Kinsmen is closed.

Regs?

That would be a nice little double header to watch KNVBs mob play at 4:00 at Cloverdale after.

Not as nice as the double header kept in KNVBs SU changeroom locker, but a nice one none the less.

What's the problem Regs, I thought that was suppose to be your home park? Surrey FC Pegasus head quarters so to speak, At least that's what NTG is telling everyone. ;)

Can't wait to practice there tomorrow, I only hope someone is nice enough to let us use the change rooms. Rangerforever, if you guys are looking for a few tips, Orange is playing Greens at about 9:30.

Newton Athletic

PAU train on the turf at Newton every tuesday night, it's the best turf going, no doubt. The last two tuesdays we have had some friendlies, with Burnaby Canadiens, and Clan alumni, both ties:D , although Burnaby had us on our heels for long stretches. Even with all the rain its been brilliant. The turf would definatley benifit a skilled team. Didn't you guys play at Newton a couple weeks ago Regs?

If you get bored...at NAP

If the Peg/Nanaimo game takes place at Newton and doesn't tickle your fancy or get's a little boring you can always head over to field #7 and watch my little MF U10 team, that play a year to two years up, at 2:30pm. Should be a good game... as U10/U11 games go!

If you thought I was intense and foul mouthed as a player you should see me as a coach! Ha! ;)

In fact, I would like to take this opportunity to ask the Peg and Nanaimo players to please watch there swearing while my little guys play 6 or 7 fields away. :D

In the words of Todd Flanders,

"Owwww, my frickin' ears!!!!"

Good luck lads,

I think it's pretty much official...

Firemen/Delta @ 2:00 Saturday on NAP turf
Peg/Nanaimo @ 4:00 Saturday on NAP turf
Canucks/Blues @ 7:00 Saturday on Pacific ice

Beer gardens run by SFC Rangers for 2 of those games. Not sure which 2 though

Speaking of Double Headers

There is one on Sunday at Adanac if it doesn't get closed with all the rain.

Adanac West is Provincial Cup Play: Mighty Khalsa vs. I.C.S.F. Inter
The winner moves on to the Second Round of Cup Play.

Adanac East is Final VMSL Premier Div. League Game:
Lowly A.C.M. vs. Relegated Croatia
Both teams playing for some pride, with both having very tough years.

Adanac Middle (Under Friulli Tree): Zurrini's Spicy Sausage Stand
A little Zurrini in a Bun, for everyone.
That is if his injury from last weeks ACM game is true, but this is play-off time and teams do not disclose the full extent of injuries.

Good Luck to all on the Weekend

Who Can Play and Who Can't

From Azzi's Weekly Report "It should be noted that Heald, Clarke, Thompson, and Skinner (as well as Franks) are not eligible to play in the Provincial Cup since they have signed with the Vancouver Whitecaps. Obviously, both VMSL teams will suffer substantial damage as a result of their departure."

These are the players for these two teams, with Fireman taking the worst hit out of any of the 16 teams in the B.C.'s.

How about the other VMSL or VISL teams that have WhiteCaps who play all year but are now on the sidelines?
No worries FVSL, I don't think any of the Caps play in your league in the winter.

I don't think Khalsa has lost any players to the Caps, and we could have a few surprises for this weekend too.

Borrrrrrrrring

Peg 4 Nanaimo 1 with about 5 to go.

Not as one sided as the score would lead you to believe. Seemed as though Nanaimo had trouble adjusting to the turf.
