Good question WAB. I think Cliff nabbed a number of Inter guys which knew a ton of guys from Cliff already. Plus the fact that you guys finished so well last year gave everyone the impression that you are not struggling to get guys....Even though our league is filled with old guys they still want to get into the game. Cheers on your big win. I had to hear about it during little guys hockey since a number of Cliff guys are also at the rink after the match.

There is no need to wave at the ball when my angles are so tight I just know it is not going in. All 3 times I had them covered. I must laugh though... since when did hitting the post and hitting the underside of the post differ. It is all wood. A counts as a save.
Good game to watch today with a lot of chances at both ends. Great hospitality as usual.

BTW, Isn't the whole point of the game to get the ball completely under that cross bar and not just brag how you guys hit it three times. It was definitely harder to hit the crossbar on the first one than to miss. One suggestion......shooting practice.

Great hospitality out at Surrey today except ... SirM you said there was a BBQ there???? I must have been in line behind RF? I didn't see a BBQ was a good game out there today with chances missed at both ends ( That is not a Palm Springs reference Freddy or SirM)

I just love the Dickens multiple post casino posts, haven't seen them in a while. . Ginge, I have an opening for a roomate now in Saskatoon at the Nationals as my big friend Eagles has Narwalk (not a pleasent thought)...free of charge. Tuesday til Monday. I am sure they have casinos there...
