BTW, the ref today did a very good job, looked a bit like Stephen Burns. Without the paralyzer.

I think it would be best if there was a secondary Cup for VMSL Masters teams ONLY. The winner of this cup would go into a pool with the Winner of the Masters VMSL Cup champs and the Masters VMSL league winner.

The final tournament would be a round robin tournament with the winner representing BC at the Canadians. It gets a little complicated because you could have 1 team that wins 2 titles. They would then have to be beaten twice by the other team - If they win the first game then they are the title holder. This would but an end to the formality of inviting clearly inferior teams from the valley, island and NSCL to participate in this year end VMSL tournament (Cleverly disguised as the "BC Championship").

There really is only 1 good league in BC.

We got ourselves a ticket to the dance and a much needed Cup Final against my friends from West Van....Love that we are playing these boys!

Shuey and Regs have been Rock Solid out of the back over the past month or so.

Bey Man and Hos have ran miles in the middle of the park against some very good players lately.

All in all the boys have really come together at the right time of the year...Who knows how long we can keep this going.

My hunch is 5 more games...But what do i know?

We are starting to find our stride and i feel a few late night posts are in store....Killer is now back doing the Beer Cooler so last Tuesdays 2 am departure from the changerooms deserved a light night post.

God i hope we draw Po Co if we can get ourselves to the dance again this year. Yes Jack The Lad....I will put a Cooler of Beer on the line right now.

You guys have had a good start JTL...But talk to me when you win something.

So, with West Van A defeating Sapperton 6-0 last night, and then Surrey Utd FF defeating Akal today 2-0, both in Imperial Cup semifinals...it is going to be a very interesting and unprecedented doubleheader on Saturday, April 3 at Kinsmen Stadium.
