Just heard the results from the SPL today. As Celtic was losing to Aberdeen, the Gers were posting 3 points against Dundee United.
Only 10 points more to gain for the boys in Red, White and Blue.
To all the TTPers who support The Forces of Darkness , Captain Shamrock, who supports the team that is currently running away with the SPL, wishes you all a Merry Christmas, and hopes that Rangers get knocked out of the 'B' Cup as soon as possible, so I don't have to listen about who is still in Europe.
Captain who realises it was one hell of a run-on sentence but it is Christmas, so I will let it slide
And a wee Merry Christmas to you too!!! I would like to go on record in saying that a B Cup is much better than no cup!!! Fcuk I'd take Zengas mama's cup over nothing at all!!!
Thank you, Ghod. It looked like a tie for a long time until Mr. Larsson notched the winner in the 90th minute. That is the kind of thing that has to hurt fans of the Forces of Darkness. In writing:
Final score Celtic Park
Celtic 3 - 2 Livingston
Lubomir Moravcik (12)
Henrik Larsson (50)
Henrik Larsson (90)
Now Hibs will draw with Rangers 1 - 1 and Celtic will gain a 12 point lead again with a game in hand......
Captain who assumes all other TTPers are at Boxing Day sales?
Did you hear that?
That was my heart beaking. BIG TIME.
I'm telling you my fellow Huns the league would have been interesting if it wasn't for that fcuker Larsson.
Did anyone watch that Celtic - Livingston match?
Needless to say I was frothing at the mouth when Livingston tied and then Celtic went down to 10 men, which in all fairness was a bit harsh.
I couldn't believe it when the Swede scored in extra time.
Interesting though, perhaps Paradise is not what it's all cracked up to be at the moment...........
O'Neill wouldn't dread Old Trafford approach
By Roddy Thomson
Martin O'Neill delivered a New Year bombshell to Celtic supporters yesterday by ruling out contract extension talks this season as the clock began ticking down on his Parkhead custodianship.
The Irishman - who is the bookmakers' favourite to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager - admitted for the first time that he would be flattered to receive an official approach from Old Trafford before the end of the season. He said: 'I wouldn't dread it.'
O'Neill has just 18 months left on his deal as manager, a contract which contains no 'windows' offering clubs formal permission to negotiate with him on a move.
He insists he intends to see it out, but will not discuss prolonging his deal, at least until the present campaign is over - by which time Ferguson will have gone.
That would be a fine addition to Old Trafford and would certainly make room for the young Northern Ireland Internatonal Keeper Roy Carroll in the line up!!! (Barthez becoming dispensable)...
as for the tims and their last minute goals (it has got to stop!!!!) at least 4 times already this season the the other team from Glasgow has scored in the dying minutes of the match... they're luck must runout or I will be crying myself to sleep (on my big pilla) come seasons end!!!
Capt,
why is it important for your Spurs to get into Europe if the only Cup they will qualify for is the "B Cup"???
First off, this question should be in the other thread titled "English Premier League". To answer briefly, because they haven't played in Europe in a long time, B or A Cup.
This thread is appropriate enough for you to continually post that the Gers are in the "B Cup"... I just thought you would explain yourself??? The last answer was insufficient for me...
How about any other TTPers who want the Captain to tell me why it is important for Spurs to get into THEE UNIMPORTANT "B CUP" and Rangers (as well as Inter for that matter) shouldn't mean shite all!!! I mean Celtic don't want any of the revenue that the Uefa Cup brings now do they!!!
