wow.. just wow...

not sour grapes, because I know acbc is beatable (because we have beat them before this year) and the games vs them this year were a draw and they hammered us (in a game that was the Ryan Canavor, former Nomad, show) and they now have all their guys signed up... and I can say that us Noamds are fired up and excited to play them.

but...

how is it possible that a "random" draw always sees D3 teams drawn against each other?

If this was bracketed or seeded somehow we wouldn't have juggernauts drawing each other in the early and middle stages of the cup (PoMo vs ACBC, etc)

as it sits now someone is going to have an easy(ish) game in the semi's vs a D3 team, when neither of these D3 teams are of the calibre of some of the D3 teams that went deep in previous years...

too bad, I was looking forward to an ACBC vs Nomads Finale, not quarter :p

Its always been a draw...I do see your point and agree with it. But until you bring it up at the AGM and put it to a vote it will remain the same.
I will second you for sure if you bring it up.
The league is ours to vote in what we want. Small simple changes to make things better are welcomed. You know that..
Did you mean you have beatin us before this year as in earlyer this year or before this season. And it would have been at your tournament shootout I think...what was that 2 and a half years ago? and in the Summer?
Only 1 guy on the field from then..
You did tie us this year for sure and true we did have all the guys out...And yes anyone can beat anyone in Cup...All Im saying is its not the same team ,aside from the Jerseys that is.
Even since you tied us this past fall its a totally different team.
Still you guys always get pumped to play us and its going to be a barn burner for sure.
Were glad to have drawn you but agree it would have been so much better in the final.

Now what about your BBQ in 2 weeks at 9pm. Are the Cops still regular visitors out there or do we need to go somewhere else for a pop after.?

Guys cup draws are totally random one thing they could improve on would be give each team a number and set up a full bracket ex. Gm 1 teams 1 v 2 gm 2 team 3 v4 winner of gm 1 plays winner of gm 2....... That way you know which teams you could possibly be playing against. However I still prefer the totally random draw being done after each round where you don't know who's playing who untill the games are all played and done.

We are stoked for the game for sure. Will be a good one... In Langley, NOT on a Sunday night @ 9:00 in Burnaby. :D

We beat you guys in a friendly at your park on a midweek last season IIRC... with your prem team playing a practice behind the net.

We also beat you in the PK's in our tourney two summers ago...

I think all in all against you guys we have lost 4, drawn once, and won twice.

Lost two ACBC Tourney playoff games (Quarters once, semi's once) Lost this year in league play, and once in a friendly at MAP. Drew this year, and the wins as above.

I'm just TTP'ing for those thinking I meant to say the draw is rigged... I'm just aww-shucks-ing it... what are the chances these D3 teams draw each other? long odds...

That being all said. Kydd, Canavor, and all the Kamberes (IIRC) played us in that game in Burnaby... only Kule and Jethro are signed to your D2 team now... and it truly was the Canavor show in BBY that night with some help from Diaz and one other guy that was brought up from what I remember.

This time will be different... We will play the game of our season, and I'm sure Housearrest will too.

Yes I remember the friendly now..Also Diaz has never ever played a single game with the div 2 team...LOL they(the brothers and I mean blood) all look the same to me too..Im alway getting thier names wrong. I think the guy your thinking of s name is Eray.
Others have called him Diaz aswell.
Yes Langley after the game 9pm i was saying.

Reality is its going to be a great game no matter what or who. Were a totally different team again and you guys have signed a few too as I see your roster. We both have plenty of time to rest and heal from last week and the Olympics will be over so everyone will be out from both teams.
We should charge admission for this one.
And sell BBQ

Langley Prem is an enigma wrapped in a cipher, smothered in secret sauce.

They pump Whitecaps Reserves 5-0 then lose to Tee-Dub in pks...Tee-Dub got pumped 5-1 by WFC early this year.

I once watched Eric Cantona play... ;)

Completely different squad. The 2 guys you noticed are probably the only guys left. onlygoals took over completly after that as well. onlygoals can tell you the amount of players they have from that team but it is probably like 5-6 with 2-3 getting consistent playing time.

Me, Justin, Todd, Azad, Dalphan are all new and all start, so 5 starters and a few others I think?
