Langley 4 Whalley 1.
4-0 at the half. A bit unfair if I was Whalley as they had a couple of good chances in the first half, one big save and Fenian with a clearing off the line. For us 4 good chances and 4 buried. We played a smarter game in the second half, with more quality chances than in the first. But they score the only goal. Go figure. So maybe an unjust scoreline at the half, but fair in the end.
Tough but relatively clean. Uppal did what he needed to do to keep it in control. There were as many hard challenges as last week against DFC, but to me one of the biggest differences between playing these guys and DFC is the lack of stupid tackles, where intended or not, someone will get hurt. Quality people on the Whalley side from the outside.
The best part of the day was that everybodies cars were where they were left at the beginning of the game.

the only thing I could see hos bitching about was osama spic made flopping like a bad borito every time they got near each other. the ref even noticed it and gave him a make up call yellow on the flopping aswell. never the less poco deserved the win as pau broke down two too many times and couldnt make it count when they had their chances.

Hos e bag . Dont confuse my spaghetti legs with" flopping". It was only the 2nd time in a year these muscular legs have seen the pitch. It takes me a bit to get going. As far as " a make up call on the diving" thats your way of looking at it Here is how I saw it.I swung my leg, 21 jumped out of the way, I missed, 21 whined to Martin, something about "how dangerous that was" , Martin agreed. Even though Im not Mexican I have had a good burrito but never a bad borito.
First post since Nov 04, did I touch a nerve. Its never too late to come out of the closet.... :p

Osame into the sauce last night???????

Sounds like you have continued your flopping ways, much like in a certain final last year when you attempted to Cheat Langley out of the trophy. Still waiting on the video you promised.

What no smileys added to the humor. Cheat langley out of the trophy, funny stuff :D :D The infamous tape will appear before this years final.....

You can't be serious Osame! :D

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one, and chalk your comments up to 'drunken/stoned' posting. You yourself gave Xena the Warrior Princess a run for her money what with all those silly little screams that came from your mouth as you tossed yourself around the pitch trying to get PNE to gift you a peno!

Stirring the pot obviously.

It was a classic Poco vs Pau game. Lots of emotion and finger pointing. It seems like these days in order for us to win, we have to capitalize on our few chances and defend with 9 guys behind the ball. You guys had more chances but the quality of your shots was poor. Man you guys are getting a lot of material from my 2 "flops", Xena, I will take your word for it. Never gave her much time but Im sure she will appear in Playboy one of these days and I will catch up with her..
I guess there will not be a repeat champion this year. Does anyone know who the last team to go back to back...
RF No need to tell us who won back to back Paks.. We know...
Stirring the Pot... Nope I just hate you Pau cutns...

Re:Bin worried..

Just wondering has anyone heard from Aves.. He has been quiet , is his chest caved in? are his vocal chords ok? Listen Aves, you have to stop running into goalies, your going to hurt someone :D no really.I know this is a bit late but quote of the game [pau vs poco] goes to Hos...Cainy and Luis [5'4] are nose to nose talking the nastys when Hos drops the "we dont need midget wrestling at this point" :D It brought out a chuckle in me.....

Pot.......meet Kettle.

Funny stuff Osame. We were all wondering the same about you, during your 12 month hiatus from TTP. I believe the vacation began right about the time you were 'dismissed' from your duties in Poco.

Good to have you back, stirring the pot though. :D

I'm hoping the impact of my chest on your goalie elbows didn't cause him too much bother. I should have rolled off them I guess but I figured stopping 4 feet before he scooped the ball up would suffice...if not in time for him to realize I wasn't gooning him, then certainly for all to see there was no foul on my part(which was called )...that was a bit ridiculous but what are you gonna do? yesterday's news.

since you asked :D

p.s. I'm o.k. :)

Langley 3 GN 1.

0-0 at half, Langley scores early second, GN scores shortly after, we go down to 10 with 30 to go and Nukes gets two in the last 10 to win it. Great team effort, especially when we went down to 10.
With all the shite floating around about GN, got to say that was the best team, whoever they were, that we have played in awhile. Defended in numbers and counter attacked very well with a ton of pace. Very good game to watch.

Thanks to all the Lions!

The well has gone dry for the Wack. Many long faces with much soul searching to do.
Top notch goal tending for the Lions! Feels like the same story everywhere we go right now.

Wow! I guess the sun's gotta shine on a dog's ass sometime eh!? ;)

Nukes, get on here and tell us how you lifted your team to victory on your shoulders (and how all the player's toes dragged along the turf as you did so :D )

So, who took the red?! I have my guess.

Wow... well done Lions... thank you very much.

Taking a look at the standings... things are extremely toight from 2nd to 6th.

1 LUFC United 13 9 4 0 32 11 31
2 Peace Arch United 16 9 1 6 37 26 28
3 GEU Ultra 16 8 2 6 30 26 26
4 Chilliwack Rapids 13 7 5 2 35 17 26
5 DMU United 14 7 4 3 33 21 25
6 PoCo City Dominion 15 7 3 5 27 21 24
7 GN Sporting Club 15 6 0 9 30 44 18
8 Whalley Storm 14 4 3 7 21 28 15
9 Sikh United Red Devils 15 2 2 11 14 50 8
10 North Delta Lions 15 2 2 12 13 28 8

The only other league game this week is Delta v Sikh.

PAU has the remaining games - Sikh, Whalley
GEU (where the hell did they come from) has the remaining games - Delta, Langley
Wack has the remaining games - Delta, Whalley, Langley, GN
Delta has the remaining games - PoCo, Wack, GEU, Sikh
PoCo has the remaining games - Delta, Whalley, GN

Needless to say, whoever wins their remaining games will finish in 2nd spot and guarantee themselves a provincial berth.

10 North Delta Lions 15 2 2 12 13 28 8

Some slight changes to your standings, as they were not updated with last night's results I believe.

Chilliwack, clinging to 3rd, still with a great shot at 2nd.
Delta & Poco with games in hand, also giving them good opportunities to move up in the standings.
PAU could win their remaining two games, and still finish 4th! :(
Langley, with tons of breathing room now. Fore-gone conclusion???

You're right Sixfyv, ther fight for the second Provincial berth is on!
