Hey Coleslaw sounds like you guys had quite the defensive battle. Did both teams pull their goalies or did Skurr play for both teams

I totally agree with REX, the ref was giving out cards like candy. I think he gave DFC 6 or so including two to one player and we had 2 or 3. 9 in one match is way to many and I don't think this game was much more physical than last weeks against the Rangers. All these cards are only going to hurt the teams come cup time. I thought last weeks ref was excellent, the way both teams were jarring at him for calls and the intensity of the game, he only handed out 3 yellows and had the game in total control. This week was a different story.

That is strange actually, as we had the same guy Friday night.
And IMO, our match against Sporting didn't seem much different than our match the week before in the tackle/jarring department.
It may have lacked a bit of intensity compared to our match, but all in all the same kind of moaning, etc. by both teams Friday night. Weird.
I do agree though, Andy Pinter did a very good job the week before while not giving too much in cards to either team.

6-6?
What, the fcuk, is that?
I can only see if Skytrain was playing in the back. ;)
It would make sense that Aaron was in goal for both teams actually, except for the fact that he's sitting out a six match suspension. :p
12 goals against would not be unusual though for "Red-Light" Skurr. :D

I am impressed with this league thus far.
All this talk about about kegs after matches, Dick's flying headers, and strippers makes me think for once, we (Rangers) have some catching up to do.

Old teams suck,

To clarify on the stripper...I don't know where Dino found her, but...nightmare is a word that comes to mind. Really, she should have kept the gear on. There appeared to be a "red card" shown "in the box" area of the field as well. Nobody wanted to look close enough to risk the teabag falling out.

Good for a laugh, nonetheless.

I need to go watch Marry Poppins now...

With the Rangers in apparent turmoil, this opens the door for everyone else to claim this years title. We(LUFC)are aware of this and will start our march to the championship tomorrow night at JO. I hear there might be a few 'gers there watching the big match between two mid-pack teams. It will be a battle.

To quote Gandolf the White, "I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide." That's what this is. The turn of the tide.

There with six-packs watching the mid-packs. ;)

Speaking of tides, I believe Coach is currently experiencing a "red" one.
Does Midol make any cleansing ales? :p

The Hotspurs vs United game

The battle of Poco City has been scheduled for 12pm @ Cedar Drive park.

Hopefully the Hotspurs will turn things around this weekend, and start to get the wins they need to take the title in Div 1.:D :p

Hopefully United will be able to rebound after allowing the Fury to score 6 goals against them.

What so you think Tupac? Can your Hotspurs turn the corner?

Sure looks on paper like Scurr was in it for both teams, but in actual fact, Poco played like crap defensively and the Pomo youth used their speed to take advantage of lax marking...

If Scurr had been playing, it may have been double that score... :D
