DJGMC... Ru WAS the guy wearing the hockey helmet... but sadly he didn't make the special olympic team... no cross dressers allowed.... even The Special Olympians have their limits....

$1000 for the tourney. Its hard enough getting $ together for the constant beer drinking.

So if the tournament organisers want an astronomical amount of beer-drinking money for an entrance fee, and haven't any restricitions on who can or cannot be on any given squad, then what the hell is the point of this tourney??? Seems to me it's nothing but a cash grab by the N. Coquitlam club.

If you go to the Hades website you will see that all teams entering have to have ID's for all their players as well as valid FVSL regi numbers. Only div 2 and 3 teams can enter. Dont know about VMSL div 2. $1000 is a pretty steep entry free though.

There were some rumours around my camp that 1 or 2 div one teams may be dropping out... If that happens how do they fill these spots, or do they just leave them empty? The rumour isnt very credible, but I'm curious if the situation did occur..

Typical Aldergrove team @ Parkside.

They run hard, tackle hard, and are on you constantly. Add in their bad park, and we couldn't get any flow. They got one at 30, for the next 15 we exchanged chances (one goal called back each). In the 2nd, they packed the box, we got another called back. In the final 3 minutes, they got one as we were pushing up, then a second.

They deserved it, played a perfect game vs. us.

Now we just have to win the other two.
