Again the league has Fcuk'd up! I just checked the excellent site and they have it posted as 3:2. How hard is it for a ref to write scores down as they happen?

Also, our manger called the league (Ruben Tremarco) about the Maplewood result from a couple of weeks back. He claimed he checked the Referee's report and it stated 4:2 not 6:0. Why not call the other team to confirm it!?

And they were two different refs. Bush league, very bush.

I'm guessing you can't post because your still eating those words of optamisit naivety with your prediction? Not to worry, half of the premier teams would not stand a chance against a CA team that shouldn't be playing div 2.

We have our task cut out for us tomorrow against an undefeated Bosna team. I will be bold and say that they are beatable and with our star keeper rearing to go, we just might be able to pull off an upset. Oh the posting if we win....it will be something else.

Ca - NSU

Despite the scoreline there were quite a few opportunities scorned by JimBeamers. CA finish like a div1 team and deserved the win.

That was a beautiful cross and I would like at least one of those every week from here on out....

...on another note...While the NSU squad was drying out in Loutet clubhouse finishing of some bevies, boisterous, jubilant cries arose from the visitors side occupied by C.A. What the fcuk is that about we wondered as although it was a win for the visitors, the result was not really in question. Mickster had just remarked as much when all of a sudden the door to our changeroom burst open and, (what I am about to describe is the god-awful truth), in comes a 6'0, 240lb, black balaclava wearing, bare chested, bare assed and here comes the cliff-hanger, I mean clincher, a Davie street, special edition, electric pink thong.
The NSU squad was dumbfounded, not knowing whether or not someone should throw the freak a extra kit or toss him some toonies from the beer collection pouch...Within moments however without any intervention on our part, our prayers were answered when, with a closing bellow the apparation of horror and most people's nightmares left just as he arrived. When I say most people's..well....I think Mickster was down for a lap dance.

Bonefish, I'm sure you would like crosses like that every week. The only thing is, as you pointed out, even though I got the assist you are now ahead of me in the scoring race. Do own goals count? I might have to fire a few into our own net to build a lead. In regards to the Electric Pink Assassin I think Mickster was fcuking terrified that might be Cliffhanger bringing him a beer. I say terrified because Mick forgot to bring his candles and it just wouldn't have been the same without. It became clear why buddy decided to traumatize everyone. Saw him later in the CA changeroom (clothes on mercifully) and he was wearing ManU sweatpants. Ever since Beckham's wife said he wore her panties fcuking Mancs have been coming out of the closet left and right!

We did spurn a few good chances. I found myself on a breakaway near the start of the game and for the life of me I couldn't find anyone to pass to as they were all behind me. Thus Plan B came into effect (slow down just enough for the centreback to slide thirty yards on the wet grass and deflect the ball out).

Good after-game atmosphere at the park. Of course I was absolutely gunned by 8 pm.

For those of you who skipped the Shakespeare unit in English 11, that was a little diddy from Macbeth (that's right Watcher...not all diddies are about Jack and Diane).

What the JBs failed to mention about the Masked Thong incident is how they all collectively reached for their tracksuits to "cover their interests."

Here's hoping for an NK victory that'll make me bulletproof to any TTP reprisals.

RC 4: EW 2
That's right, the Cougs pulled off the upset today. We always knew we could run with the best teams in this league, and today proved it. EW missed Frank quite a bit, but still put up a good fight. We went up 2-0 in the first half, EW scored with about 5 to go and then again 10 mins into the second to tie it up. Then we scored on a free kick about 25 mins in, and the insurance goal with 2 mins to play. It was a great game with both teams having several chances. Who knows where we'd be if we had this kind of effort all season?! On to WV to avenge an earlier loss this season, don't even ask how that happened!

Well, the NK train once so full of steam has come up short of coal to shovel. A mucker in the rain. It was a good match with ball possetion even throughout. In these conditions, the game could have pretty much been anyone's.

Bosna opened the scoring with a 'dead' ball that caught our goalie off guard. NK was quick to tie it up when paisano striker boy beat their keeper, who happenes to have the lowest GA average in the group, inside the six. It was nice to put a halt to their 6 game shutout streak (according to their keeps). Tied at ones it didn't take the persistent Bosnians long to go up one by capitalizing on the only defensive breakdown by the NK back line....a little miss read and oh...it's in the net. In the second their little stiker Almir, ever so quick with a skoukum shot, beat us on the short corner conversion. Down 3-1, was this the last stop for the train? ...could we still manage a win or a tie?....I don't think so. The train gained a little steam and managed to come within one when our right midfielder received the ball from paisano striker boy wide on the outside...one, two touch, the defender opened up space and yes, the shot, not the cross, from 20-25 out sailed everso mightily through the air in Roberto Carlosian fashion mezmarising a 6'4 keeper as it dipped just under the bar on the far post....pretty. All ammo firing at this point to come back, only to be beat by our enemy....father time. Yes folks, NK didn't lose, we just ran out of time.

Ona side note,

Interesting little flare up after the game. Two white unies slugging it out amongst themselves (fists and all) gives NK a win in the class department for sure.

EW - Cougs

That is a surprising result for sure ... was EW short guys or something??? When the Cougs played EW in the 1st game of the season, they almost pulled off the "W" then, so I guess noone should be 100% shocked here, but EW was certainly on a roll of late and looked prime to take a shot at promotion. Frank and Pete would have made a difference - don't know who else wasn't there...

As for the Primos - CH game ... Primos pretty much dominated the first half and were up 3-0 ... looked pretty set to take the match, but CH came out and scored 2 quickies in the 2nd half to make a match out of it. Much more even 2nd half ... the pitch is totally fcuked now though - pretty much guarantees no more games on Cleveland South this year...

Yeah, yeah, I had to eat my words this past weekend. Another tough loss. What can I say, good team.....just wish they'd get a new kit, perhaps one that didn't include a pink thong. Just glad that Holiday, Luch, and Cliffhanger had a chance to change out of theirs and into regular duds before chatting with them after the game

Apologies to CA for not having the park lined. The maple leaf at centre seemed to keep moving on us!! Good luck with the promotion bid, don't think anyone will catch you. Looks like its a good thing there is no div 3 for us to be relegated to!!! I guess the same can be said for NKH, what happened to the train.

Sorry Manager, didn't have a chance to watch you game. Didn't want to get my hair wet in the rain. Hopefully I'll catch a game before the years out!

CA killed us. They finish their chances. We seem to be stuck with putting the same guys in the same positions and not trying to experiment. (seeing as how our year is pretty much done) It's a joke. There is no loyalty. Regulars are getting pulled after half for CAT players. Not fair seeing as how the CAT guys are gonna get a full game on Sundays. It's a fcuking gong show. No wonder we have people quiting every week. ( so it seems)

It was good to meet the Mickster and Dapotayto after our game on Saturday. I was getting restless waiting for my beer so we had to send in an old Croatian war vet. to do some recognisance.
He's a little out of shape right now but still moves like a Ninja.

Played PG on Monday (5-1) on an absolutely nightmare of a field. If you haven't played at Sunset park yet, you're in for a treat. No changerooms, water, bathrooms, a muddy bumpy pitch, and a short backstop so that if you miss the net, you have to cross the street to go get the ball back. There is actually a spot on the field where the ball goes in a hole and you can barely see the top of the ball. Besides that though, it was great.
On the bright side the porn director Jimmy Holliday was at the game, not sure if he was scouting new talent but Bowman wasn't there.

Back to friendly old Burnaby field turf this week.

Champion's League cokc-ups......

Having realised that I have yet to respond to a PM from Luch from August, I thought I'd investigate the CA website instead of actually replying to my former manager. Keep the cnut waiting a little longer, you see. Anyway, boring quickly of the eerily similar format to that of previous Peg/Olys websites, I went wandering off to bother the totty in Human Resources. Arriving back at my desk I was shocked to hear from those in other offices that my PC had only been blasting out the fcuking theme song to the Champion's League for nigh on ten minutes. My colleagues complained rather bitterly.

I then restored the usual blasting loop of Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' and the complaints stopped, normal service resumed.

You'll be waiting a long time for that reply, Luch, that was offside.

yo, cliff. glad you liked the field. it's about as smooth as a fat chicks ass. we actually were a great team, but we lost all our good players down a hole in the field, like a baby in a well. the only thing i can think is that maybe it's a weapons testing field...
now imagine it on a dry day.

CA 6 vs PG 1 (the smoothness of the field confuses PG as they can actually see all their players)

but if the rest of the games are played:

EW 2 vs Primos 2 (pretty evenly matched teams, MOTW for C)
WV 2 vs Cougars 3 (WV starts the downward spiral)
City 4 vs C-Men 2 (reality check for the CMen after the big upset)
CH ? vs JBs ? (mickster we'll see you at the field)
