Really enjoyed the Aldergrove - Westside game tonight. End to end stuff at times. Aldy full value for their win and could have had five or six if finishing was better. Westside keeper was in great form though. Him and Brett Wiens had a fantastic battle all night. Westside had a great chance to tie it up in stoppage time and then Aldy went up the pitch and grabbed the third.

Not my best quality video due it being a night game and my camera being a pile of crap, and the slow shutter reaction fcuked me over on two of the goals, but here's some video from Inter's 2-1 win over Langley on Friday night. Got nearly 8 minutes of highlights from Aldergrove's win coming tomorrow.
One spots all Aldergrove needs, I think they are a tough match for Inter. Inter has the better team on paper and more talent but Aldergrove is way more organized and "together:" Their work rate and pressure is going to win them this final with enough talent from Wiens and Connor to provide the goals.

Hey, go back a few more years. I played on the FVSL SU team that lost to Firemen 1-0 in the final in 99. Or was it 98? That was the last time a FVSL team was in the final.
Aldergrove looked very good last night. Some very talented players, lead by Connor Hildebrant, son of @utah . They certainly play for one another.

I think before Surrey United, Coquitlam Celtic from the FVSL lost to Norvan in one of those finals, the '88 one maybe?
I'm dating myself there...
