Sporting Punjab B 3 Wickham 1

Wickham started the game with 11 players with one player already injured. After 10 minutes of player the injured player could not continue and Wickham finished the game with 10 players.

Wickham did dominate the game but could not finish their chances and Sporting Punjab did.

No one to blame but ourself for not fielding a team but thats cup.

Nk head a cake walk in to days game. Five one and could have been more.

The other game Cleos Vs Bosnia it was five to zero. Bosnia head only seven players. Ref made a mistake. One of the Bosniam players went down to an injury. Ref did not stop the game according to the rules. But atleast he did stop the game after five zip. Cleos sure head an easy win. Both clubs should go to div three and rebuild. Not nice to watch.

Does anybody know what happened in the Romania Vatreni game? The website says incomplete

Watcher UBC side has got enough to give you guys one hell of a game. Two to one eather way. As far as Vatreni one sub got the red. Five yellow cards. Romania two reds.
And if they check Romania head an ilegal player. He is carded with number one side. I am not sure if the guys did see it ot if ref did see it. Angelos refs need to pay bit more care. Red will not count if they look. He was in the midle of the park.

Temple 4 Norvan Lions B 1

Norvan came out pumped, and ran hard for the first 20 mins. It took time for us to settle and adjust to a team with some pace as the last few weeks we have played we have played against teams showing up 5 mins before the game with barely enough to field a team.

Norvan scored first, on what was an obvious offside goal, but the ref missed it. Oh well...

After that, we took control of the game, as Norvan seemed to have run themselves out of gas. First goal off a cross into the box, and headed in to the back of the net with about 10 left in the half. We scored again about 5 mins later just before half.

Second half about 15 mins their midfielder takes his second yellow on a VERY late tackle.

They are down to ten men now and we pop in two more to seal the deal. Norvan are a hard running, hard working team who play well as a team.

Onto Squamish next after our last league game.

P.S Bonefish, why don't you recruit this Norvan B team into your Div 2 spot? They would fit in nice in regular Div 2. They have a deep bench, actually show up early and have a proper warm up, and seem like a good bunch of guys. No superstars on the team, but they play well together.

Romania should have figured it out when the game was scheduled. It was a 4 o'clock kick-off. But after seeing how retarded they were on the field - it doesn't surprise me they did nothing.

Romania was not aware the lights don't turn on automatically. We played in
Richmond last year and in all their fields the lights turn on when games are
schedueled no code necessary. Of course we were not aware we never played
a game at PointGrey before. Vatreni is lucky we showed up with 9 players and a
golkeeper who has never played in net before and didn't have gloves. They were
up 2-0 within the first 15 before all our players showed up. Looking at the league
standings in Div2 we thoungt we would be up against a much better side but it wasn't
to be. Very very average Vatreni team nothing special.

The Norvan Div 2 sides will get reworked for next year. They would have had the spot this year had I know that the roster would further erode right at the beginning of the season. On top of that there were players that were supposed to be coming down from 1CAT after a few games and that did not happen either. It was tough go this year but there is a core of good guys that with the proper supporting cast will make a good side. Next year if the current alignment continues or deepens Norvan should be able to make a very solid run at promotion into Div 1.

The group Nk plays plays in have four very weak sides. They are not as good as they think. The group they pay in is very very low level. Four clubs should be in div three.
UBC will give them one hell of a game. UBC can move and does have skill in tight. NK does well on a home field. They have size and that pitch is ten yards nerroy and ten yards shorter.

If NK is as good as everyone says they are (or as good as they think they are) they won't have too much trouble with UBC.

Yes No. 2 NK knows how good they are and they will defeat UBC in style despite what certain anti NK entities keep pounding at. Some people just don't know when to throw in the towel or call a spade a spade for gods sakes just let Elvis leave the building so the fat lady can sing.

PS ......If your beloved Vatreni manages to win on Wednessday that will leave the very very very weak 2b as the only Division with three teams still in the cup. NK will be playing UBC on the nerroy Beaconsfield.

HNK Vatreni rule it does not matter if they win or lose. We are all behind them.
Next year they will have onother side. It is all about fun and community building.
Den to see four clubs show up with seven guys more than four times tell you only one thing. Guys do not have fun. They rather play in a lower levels.
It is not about scorring six goals each game. It is about our kids having a place to play in. Never sell your self.

I go every so aften to see Bosna play. It is sad to see how the guy running the club feals. Players do not show up. They go and play for other clubs.
It is no fun for him and his people.

Refs in that league do very little checking on player cards. Some teams use two three guys that do not have a valid cards.

Angelos patrol is failing big.

Douglas Park is a very good side. That is all they care about. Cup is their nuber one love.
It should be fun to watch. Romania B was a very scrapy side. Not an eazy side to beat.
If HNK can get by this game and you boys win your game it might be even more intrasting thing to watch. One game at the time. You will have to buy bit of earbs just to keep watcher from going mad.
