on the league and we wrapped it up with a 7 0 win...and now its on provincials where were gonna try to defend our title from last year.

Rino's 4 - 0 GFC Lions

We scored in the first half off a scramble after a corner, a shot was hammered off the crossbar, off their defender's back and in.
They kept us honest with their big man up top being the target and providing service to the secondary runners.

Second half the flood gates opened. A great strike off the post and in was followed shortly after by a beautiful passing play involving a half-dozen guys touching the ball and finally a low cross being buried by our centre mid. The scoring was rounded out by a great dipping shot that handcuffed the keeper and gave him little chance. We probably should have scored a few more, but fluffed a bunch when it didn't really matter.


I'm going to go out on a limb and call Surrey for the big upset win over Sarajevo. They are a tough, hard-working bunch, and it would be fun for us to play them as we have had a huge rivalry with them over the last 5 years in the CAT division.

Also, I think LMU Hurricanes will take out 13th Legion. I don't know for a fact, but I'm guessing that some of the Div 1 DU Hurricanes transferred down at the deadline as the Div 1 team seems to no longer be able to field a team.

I don't know for a fact, but I'm guessing that some of the Div 1 DU Hurricanes transferred down at the deadline as the Div 1 team seems to no longer be able to field a team.

Quite a few forfeits this weekend. Must be all those uni students busy studying during reading week.

Are you referring to the forfeit against Chile as being only one game?

Because I don't consider scheduling a Tuesday night game and sending an entire HPL youth team to play us as your boys being able to field a team to finish the season.

Now back to the real topic of this thread! Who will prevail between Wickham and Panthers tomorrow night?

Actually no, As a premier squad we take our bumps and bruises. Chile will do well in Premier next year. They also gave the reigning Provincial cup champs a run for their money. I would be upset on the other hand if we lost against your squad !

On a side note the Premier squad was also forced to play tonight due to field and delta parks issues so it was not a one off.

Ajyal are looking very good up front, they added 2 new strikers just before the end of the season and that is why they've been so dangerous up front. They have no problem scoring goals and they have a solid goalie but their D. is a bit shaky at times thats their only downfall.
It would be exciting to see an all Saudi Semi. As for the other side, i think it'll be a balkan Semi.
