Inter played extremely well today and dominate vs Ipswich...It was 4-0 till Ipswich slotted home a penalty a few minutes from time. Vieri had a Hat-Trick and Zanetti had a solid game.

Parma and ACM also advanced while Fiorentina were knocked out. All said and done it was a good day for the I-TAL sides.

UEFA 4th round bound... after owning most of the play and missing a PK in extra time the light blues managed a heroic win over Paris St.Germain in a dramatic shootout!!! The Gers were full value for the victory, but had to settle it in PK's due to some clear cut oppotunities wasted... Flo missed twice from close range and DeBoer missed an apparent tap in... however there run of the play was not all at waste due to the shootout finish... after both sides missing 2 of 5 Captain Barry Ferguson bravely slotted home the Teddy Bears 6th shot!!! Some daft French fry missed over the bar and the rest is history!!! Well deserved victory over both legs...

It is with dispare and disbelief that I have to announce the same fortune did not occur at Parkhead... the other team from Glesga put on a brilliant performance (OK that's a bit strong, more like a descent effort for what they have) and came up short in the same manner... after winning 1-0 on the night the match was forced into PK's after a 1-1 agr. scoreline... unfortunatly for the hoop mob they could not finish their dinner and bowed out of the championship... UNRUCKY lads!!!
