Ummmmmmm....

Dear Dude,

The only thing "difficult" about GM Place is finding enough money in your pockets for the third trip to the beer line!

True on the berr.

But explain their record at home last season. Nearly every team that came here past Christmas 2001 lost.

But you're right...it must not be a difficult place to play...

Injuries do suck, but won't hamper our lads. Clooooots is rested and it will be nice to have him back. I think that Ohlund will be the one we will be missing the most.

I hope Theo is Playing Tonight

It will be nice to see him flying around out there, then get flattened by Jovo or Barron.

Should be a good game tonight, who got the call from the minors, not Frodo.

There was a classic line from Burke the other day about our Hobbit Hockey Player.
Burkie said "Fedorov may want to buy himself a House in Winnipeg, the way he is playing" great stuff.

Face off in about 100 minutes...

Nucks 5
Preds 1

Nucks won 5-0 and 6-2 I think last year in Nashville.

oooooh, you placed $5.00 on the over and you are worried.... well then, you shouldn't be betting the money your parents gave to your son.

back at it.....

Well, it was a win. Kinda sloppy, they really didn't get going until the end of the second but it was enough.Hope they get out of the gate faster for the Oilers on Saturday. Good work though...let's keep it rollin'!

2 in a row....

Well they came out of the gate faster tonight, they always seem up for the Oilers. Hung on for the win, good to see Bert, Nazzy, and Mo in on the winner. What a run they've been on in the last year! Something like 50 wins and around 20 loses. We got a winner here kids!

I agree.

Time to stop believing this team is a fluke, and start believing they're for real.

The entertainment value has also been phenomenal over the past year.

Aside from the glorious fact of winning last night, that game -- from a hockey fan's view -- was fantastic! Regardless of which team you were rooting for, that was some damn fine, playoff-esque hockey.

Despite Skudra's decent play (sometimes he seems a split second slow to react -- but lucky nonetheless), I'm still worried about Cloutier. After sitting on the bench in Nashville, the medical/coaching staff scratch him completely. I saw his interview during the game, but how serious is his injury really?

Still riding shotgun in the bandwagon,
K.

Cloutier's injury can't be serious enough to keep him out for the rest of the year. In the meantime Skudra stacking his sofa's is filling in fine.
A soft goal here and there, followed by agile, momentum saving stops has been his MO this year. Which really should be of no concern. As his playing time goes up in the next few weeks he should be able to put the soft one behind him. Much like captain Kirk in the past, and Cloutier last year.
Skudra, Cloutier, it doesn't matter, and if it does, Cloutier will be back healthy anyway.

Skudra looked fine to me!! He has played good in all the games he has played in this year. You can not say he has cost us anything. He absolutely stole the game for us in Tampa Bay during the winning streak!!
