The teams have been determined and the stage is set.

Who will win?

I'm going to go with the club. I have to and honestly, I think they'll win. Poco is starting to play a little better these days but I love Langley's kick it high and run far style. It is pretty to watch when it's executed properly. Brilliant soccer.

Go Langley.

Have you even seen us play yet this year? It's hardly a "kick it high and run far" style. It's more like "kick it far and run high". Or some complex variation of it.

Actually, ask LFC...he takes painstaking measures to draw it out on the chalk board for us. It's called the "Wagner V". ;)

Two weeks and counting,

Sappy.

Two fcuking posts in the Pak Final thread?

Oh how I long for the days of a good parking lot dust up or a massive shirt tearing debacle.

"sigh" Those were the days. :(

Two of the three are from you..... If you had played for our cat team you would have had a "Shot" at a premier spot.... instead... your battling for ??? Oh yeah. relegation.. ;)

The two sides seem to be cautiously quiet, not surprising from LFC's squad they tend to be very humble.

The problem is that neither team wants to give the other something to post in the dressing room.

No guts no glory.

Clubfoot, the problem is both teams are shite and horribly un-fit... (like PAU)
Hence, no posts from either side!!! ;)

Nukes doesn't really care, he's already gearing up for motorcross!!!

No Rangers = Boring Cup Final.

I guess everybody was expecting a threepeat final !!!

Rangers v. Delta
Delta v. Rangers.....

You know what I mean...

Its funny how you get used to certain things. :D

Good luck to both Poco and Langley this weekend and don't be intimidated by who's shoes you have to fill.

Cheers

The good old days...

I agree Crafty - Normally change is good as a holiday.
But I suppose when clubs like you and us have dominated  for sooo long, it's tough for folk to get back into the swing of things.

What ever happened to events such as Jerseygate?
These events were the critical ingredients to promote a cup final.
Those were the days.

At least the hosting this year should be top shelf.
Boddingtons and jellied eel sandwiches please. :D
The Coach and I will probably be in attendance to boo both sides so we will try to create a little atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Osame vs. LFC2.
Dude vs. Aves
Wait a minute, that's after the game in the beer gardens....

Anyhow, a great match up to finish the year and best of luck to both clubs.

Dude: Don't hate me if I hang out with Aves at the match.
He's a tit, I know.
A Guildford Celtic, North Surrey Spartan, Surrey United, Peace Arch United tit, but I do enjoy the odd pint or two with him regardless. ;)

I must admit that I think your man Sixfyv came up with that one.
Wasn't me anyway, someone else on here.

Good to laugh about it now. :D

Back to the mudslinging Premier thread. :p

danger!!

RF and Crafty,

Quit bringing up the "good ol' days" will ya...

All this looking back is gonna make Cainy start talking about the "4 championships on the bounce" or "undefeated all year" or when he was the tall guy in class...

He's got the scrap book to prove it... He'll show ya... ;)

Langley 1 PoCo 0

Very good cup final, great weather, great hosts.
Except a bunch of those Peace Arch fcukers were there.

Late in the first half a well bent, hard cross into the box off a dodgy free kick had Robbie Hildebrant roof it into the bag from about 4 yards out.
Nice finish Robbie.
I have to admit Osammy got a bit rooked on that call.

PoCo pressured hard in the 2nd with Timmy coming up very big on a few close chances.
Also, a goal line stop on a great header finish from PoCo really late in the game.
I'm amazed how it managed to stay out.

Definitley full marks to Langley on a solid 90 minutes.

Congrats lads,

RF

Amen, brother. A terrible call that changed the outcome of the game. A shame really, as the rest of the game was called very well IMO.

Absolutely. MOTM should have been Timmy. This message brought to you by the Association of Keepers Supporting Keepers.

Congrats boys! This has been a great turnaround year for you. Take good care of Precious for us. We look forward to collecting her back in a year :bronco:

Good final, RF kinda summed it up well.... Poco did well and had a few good chances late but Wagner made some good stops. Good atmosphere in the beer garden until they let Guiness, Cainy and PAU Nation in ;) :D Good on Delta for hosting the event.

What about the miss of the year by Poco #14 .....there was a consensous groan and laughter after that one.

Congrats to Langley on the win.

At last glance, Precious was in five pieces, and going home with Dino for repair. You be the judge of "good hands"... :D

Congrats to Langley.

Great season for you all. Cup winners, Provincial birth and League runners up all in one year.

One thing you must work on next year is Dude's attire. That shirt was shocking

And some fukcer broke one of our toilets yesterday while posing for pictures.

Any of you guys know any plumbers...??? ;)
