PAU 3 Poco Dominion 1

Good result for the Nation in a must win for us... (I guess every game is a "must win" for us now) Traditionally this match up is a toight affair with plenty of skill and close marking with many tough tackles!!! Poco is a team that can mix it up with anyone, but on the day I thought they were outmatched...
The first half was back and forth with Sage coming away with the lonely goal off a mix up between the keeper and his defenceman... The second half Osama and that "little snapper" Draven moved into the middle of the park and provided some spark for their squad, however the Beast ate em up like Billy Jackson on those funny brownies!!! Sage added another then Kirby replied for Poco... After some pressure "Wee Swety" added the insurance marker as Osama took his second yellow!!! A bit of a soft red IMO, but I guess you can't talk to these ref's without getting rewarded with some colour???
(As Cainy mentioned) a good laugh in both changerooms after the match with some "puff puff pass" activity to calm any tension after a tough battle...

Next up:
Undefeated GEU vs Lowely Piss Poor PAU... Should be 3 points in the bag for the current league leaders???

SUFC 1 GROVE 1

Not the best game played by our side. Down 1-0 at half on a nice goal by Aldergrove after our D slipped. Second half Aldergrove got a red with about 30 min to go resulting in a couple of chances before getting one off a corner kick with about 10 min left. Onto a home game against the boys from Chili this week.

TheRob, the Lion boys are still here, Rhider has got exams and TTP isn't exactly a priority

But here is the game report:
Delta started out strong with a quick goal given up in the same fashion as the PAU goal by Guiness, apparently we like assisting goals to our friends on oposite teams

After the early lapse we picked it up applying all types of pressure to the Delta side. A missed open net by our little helper and a few missed chances of quality oppurtunities and the lions were frustrated. Finally the little helper popped one after a few rebounds on the net. From here on play was fairly uneventful with most possesion being lost over and over in the middle, then a cross was amazingly hit by a annoying little boy and delta went up 2-1, and then a defensive breakdown now its 3-1. we simply could not score, even when the ball popped underneath the keeper and a open net was offered by Delta as a gift we still couldn't put it away.

What it comes down to, although we out chanced the Delta side they walked away with a 3-1 win. When it came down to it they got about 5 - 6 good chances and scored three goals. We had atleast 8 -10 chances and scored 1. Unacceptable

Congrats PAU i knew you guys were back, good luck against the GEU boys.

IMO, we were outworked and did not dig deep enough to come out with a result. Vented my frustration at this in the changeroom afterwards. Fitness came up in a couple of conversations. My response: fitness is a mental challenge as well....if you don't want to put the effort in, there's no way your body will do it for you.

Not much more to add than what Burke&nonis said about the score.......except that those fcuking cheap cnuts in aldergrove need to buy their team a fcuking extra set of jerseys (wearing bibs is a joke) .....i have never seen that many inbred bushmen blatently taking runs at guys legs and ankles......not one tackle did they have intent for the ball......i am still fcuking pissed off.....after the whistle one cheap cnut decides to body check one of our smaller forwards....this not fcuking hockey alderbush !!!! Our guys kept their composure from the cheap hits.......while i kept losing my cool on the sideline........at least one of them finally got tossed, but too late in my opinion !!

the ref was brutal.......pull out your cards early in the game so the bloody cheap shots don't happen. To top it off they sent a blind linesmen to the game too....must have picked him up from the senior centre....he was at least 70 and I swear he couldn't see 10 ft in front of him.

I hope this team stays where they are....fcuk they got hustle but no skill and are dirty cnuts. No other team in premier is like this but these shitheads from the bush are one a kind.

Big T don't hold back dude how do you really feel. I feel your frustration though, some cnut in that squad nearly broke my leg as well, guys with no skill gotta realize that kicking at my ankles or swinging your leg at mine will not get you the ball any faster. Time for soccer to introduce a enforcer like hockey, where these cheap players (like buhner) will get beat up if they cant play. So when Anson Carter (thats me) gets kicked then George Laroque(someone like guiness) will come in and lay the smack down, it'll stop i assure you. Maybe not i guess that might take from the game...someone should still beat up buhner though

I can't remember what the chump looked like...he ran away so fast and we were more concerned for the young lad's health.....the ref and the linesmen didn't see it and since they were wearing bibs we didn't get a number......i agree that a guy like that needed a few elbows to the head....he just didn't get it. I still got a game left with Alderbush CAT and I'm pretty sure we'll remember this. I'll make sure my studs are sharpened.

Our U-21 team played at Newton on the weekend so thats who you ran into..... They were talking about you guys the next day.....said something about 3 grandpas drinking in the changeroom

Good win for the Nation, Studs out next week with his third yellow this year. Lots of laughs in the changeroom, studs in the final of a FLIP, and came out victorious... 2-0 on the day. PLAY OF THE WEEK: Studs, Cainy, and Hockey Bag going to the pub for beers and Grub, Cainy going over to another table to talk to his u-12 coach leaving his wallet on the table. ROOKIE!!!!
