After the game...........Guinness came up on the hill and called out AZZI!

Quote....Hey Azzi....Are we still a house league team you jackass!

WoW.......Was that ever Ballsy!

No Joke.....Shuey, Mclean and myself were in shock.

Here comes Guinness running up the hill calling out Azzi.....Azzi stops and Johnny asks him how a house league team just took out his club! (And then a few other things)

Gotta say it was crazy just to witness it!

What a crazy game this is.

PAU - very impressed and happy for you. Looking at this year's squad it's no surprise. The team has improved on the field, adding experience and proven success (G, Jacko, Evans, Pigeon, Jammer). They also got 'The Human Bubble Gum' producer back....DB, you're the best! Sure PAU lost some key players from last year but the team is now better designed for success in the BC's (I've been saying that all year). If you look at the success of this team over the last few years, albiet, in the FVSL but also winning their first round in the BC's 3 out of the last 4 years, it's bound to have an impact and it's finally showing....so on that note, well done and well deserved!

Another huge component having a direct impact on this team's success is Mark McQueen (head coach). He's probably one of three real coaches in all of BC that coach this level. It's his second year as 'head gaf' and his success has been unprecidented since his arrival...cudo's to him as well. It's ironic...I would have thought that being a former player/captain of the PAU Nation, my biggest contribution to the team would have come on the field. Now looking back, my biggest contribution to the program was convincing McQueen to take on this team.

PREDICTION: PAU over Whomever

Time to go, need to shovel snow off the driveway...

To call out Azzi like that, if it did happen like you said, Coach, is really bush.

What's really bush was Azzi at the imperial cup final introducing the teams and the Imperial cup as the oldest cup in BC (1912), I stood up and told him it was'nt, it's the pak cup (1909) and I had it in my lap to prove it, and he said over the mike "House league cups don't count"

Get Stuffed ya prick, great ammo for the boys and we talked about it 5mins before the match yesterday. Great night last night at the casino, had a few beers with fletch, the Nation ass banging the house for $1500 last night. looked at the MF player ID's after the match while havin a cold one with blair and JP, quite a young squad that'll be good for many years. Fletch, make sure your at PCL training on tues, we need a good intersquad game to prepare for next week

Congrats to the PAU boys. Final four now and anything can happen. Studsup, thanks for the text......although for some reason I'm guessing Guinness had something to do with the first one? :D

BTW, nice work on screwing up the schedule with the school team. I can't believe they could say that. Someone has been making up some BIG stories. Wanker.

Of ALL people in the world, you make a "bush" comment.

First off, I never swore or yelled at him (or used a mic). I kept it classy, but loud enough for the ten pairs of ears to hear me. ;) I basically said:

Hey Mr. Azzi, you don't know me and may not remember us at the Imperial... fcuk it. I can't be bothered explaining myself to an itiot that lost to a FVSL team and has a great reputation of beating players up in the parking lot!!!! You are top drawer Mr. Weavers!!! Class that.

PAU 1 Metro Ford 0

BTW, Blair, Gary Ayre and Johnny Price were first class after the match. They will have a good squad in the VMSL for years to come!

Johnny did not call him a Jackass......He came up the hill and had a chat with Azzi basically saying" Do we still look like a house league team now"

For that i appolagize J C.

It was Ballsy and Crazy to see though.;)

Good job yesterday PAU!

I'm really gutted i missed the match, but my little man had swimming lessons, wow how life changes. I kept phoning my brother who was there and can't say how happy i am for everyone at PAU. It's also great to see the FVSL get it right finally. I have to agree with alot of what Coops said especially about Hibee he is a good coach and has taken the club to another level. Keep it going Nation forever and ever:wa:

This is too funny, I was talking to Mark before the Cup started and he said, that he likes his teams chances of getting to the semi's or even the final, this comment not just as PAU coach, but as a smart soccer man. He said we will do it by not changing the style of game they did all year, just because you are playing against VMSL teams, still play the same way. Well done PAU, didn't think you could do it after lossing to the Mighty Ranger, see you boys on the Island on saturday, could be a great Ferry ride both ways.

You know what? Good on him. JC, it took balls brother, and you probably spoke volumes that many a player has been dying to say to him over the years.

Azzie has been sticking it to our league for too many years, doing his best to keep the FVSL on the outside. You can't tell me his dictatorship has been better for the game itself in these parts. Time for some new leadership in the VMSL. A little thinking outside the box would be a nice change.

I bet the loudest cheer of Guinness' comments came accross the river from a certain number of ex-Poco Premier (AKA: Metro Ford Tayside) players.

I still don't know why you missed the game?

The pool must have lifeguards...

Aside: WAB...your a wanker.

You call others 'bush'...you sucker-punch kids half your size

Your squad gets relagated and you pull the "I had nothing to do with it. I'm a Masters player now"

You don't care who wins the 'open' but you've got more posts in this forum than anyone else and you're spouting off about shite you have no clue about...

Go to what you care most about, the Masters Division, and fack off...no one cares what you have to say here...
