I play for Surrey Sundowners ,masters fraser valley.
on another note I found out that Guido Titotto played for inter and their over 30's team last year is this true? considering Guido scored the only goal aganst us in the provincials ,can anyone shed some light on this .
I thought you coudn't play in two cup matches for two different team's let alone play over 30's and premier

If anyone's looking for something to do on Sunday, we should have the full bbq pull going on at Hillcrest (usually salmon with tartar and fresh rolls, Italian Sausage, hot dogs, Cardhu, pop and beer) going from 12:30 on or so.

My Pick for MOTW is PA v Mission at Hatzic Park in Mission. Should be a good game. Mission has always played well against PA. They have several good players, but having said that, they have a couple of fcukin pricks (who would rather break your leg then actually play fitba).

From the looks of the score sounds close but it wasn't. Mission had only two chances, in the last ten minutes of the game. They were never threatening and where missing some of their better players. Any FVSL O30 threadsters' reading this watch out for Mission #20. PA concensus says, "he will break someones leg or worst.." Absolute plumber! The rest of the Mission players are out to play good old futba. Loads of missed chances by several PA lads. The Mission goal keeper stood on his head and made several good saves.

The weather was awful, field soaked and hard to run in, very boggy. The beers were still very good, as always.

Side note: The ref's glasses where fogged up the whole game and he could not keep them clear.....Poor Bastard looked like Mr Magoo out there.

Westside 1-2 Columbus

Until we can pull out of this tailspin, there will be no more MOTW with Westside in it.

They're undefeated this year and have picked up some quality players. They controlled the play and we scored late on one of the few opportunities we had. We are waiting on a couple of players who will (hopefully) be signing soon. Until then we can compete with most teams but the W's seem to be beyond our grasp.

We now play 2 games in a row at 9 AM on the turf that a lot of our guys don't like to play on. This Sunday should be particularly rough after a Hallowe'en party Saturday night (I won't even mention the venue, how much it costs, if there's a free beer or half price food for fear that TB will censor this post).

Another horrific thought; when does daylight saving end?

If you're talking about our game, they had 2 nice goals; the first was a cheeky chip from outside the 18 and the second was a great low drive that just got inside the near post from about 22 or so.

Hillcrest (south/center field) held up very well under some brutal rain.

Sluggo is Joe Pest (former national Champion with Croatia A).

He was telling me about his goal, a low hard drive....

He said that Kevin Kolbow (former PCSL Croatia player but mostly known for being a Trollop) has joined Columbus this year along with a mental looking Croat named Johnny K (or J.K.).
