Would have liked to seen Jokinen in a Nucks jersey, but definitely not at that price. Not even close, actually, which is why we didn't see any deals because that's all Nonis was being asked for.

Outrageous is right Yoda...
It is easy for everyone to sit back and say how easy it should have been for the Nucks to land him when the price wasn't so high for Richards...
But Florida has been punked the last two times into the trade with the Nucks and Tampa was motivated by the cap to offload Richards...
Jokinen would have been nice, but not at that price point.
I would have done it for Schnieder, Bourdon, Another Forward, and a 1st...but no more.
The Nucks are deep enough at D to afford to be able to offload Bourdon
that being said bringing in a Jokinen is uselss if you don't have kessler to shut down the other teams top line, and Edler I really believe will be the new Ohlund for the next 10 years.

That is a rumor...not a fact.

First game he played for the caps was a 4-0 shutout win over NJ....tonight, after the first period 5-0 for the Caps over Boston.
