The standings are as tight as a nun's bum on sunday for sure...
Great game by both sides.
We had a couple of real decent chances and as much as a tie doesn't help us greatly to get the title again, we were pretty happy with our performance.
Nice to have Bails and Mac reunited in the back for us for the first time this year with BP running like a fcuking gazelle all night long and having a strong outing as well.
HOS was particularly sharp last night - Good game bud.
I thought John Rogers was fantastic for them and the big lad's a right classy guy too.
Also, Paul Dolan, believe it or not, played as a sort of right midfield/floating striker and had an awesome game as well IMO.
Said it before, say it again, Delta will be one of the BC spots this year out of the Valley.
Congrats on a great season thus far boys and hopefully we can try to get a piece of your ass again in the Cup.
Be interesting to see which two out of the three teams coming out of the FVSL into the BCs this year will play in each other in the semis and who will play an Island team.
What a crazy weekend, things just seem to be getting tighter and tighter.
1 point between 1st and 5th, with PAU Blue now seeing who they can upset in league play. There is the first round of Cup play this weekend, so nothing will change in the league. But from these standings, it looks like Delta and Mission have the best chances at top 2 finishes, with the rest of us trying to get into the BC's with a Masters Cup Championship.
Mighty Rangers still play PAU White and BLue, need all 6 points for a chance at the league.

caught most of the 2nd half of PAU White's 10-0 win over Abby. Jesus. I guess to their credit they stopped celebrating goals. that's the only thing possitve you can say about a team that runs the score up to 10-0
Bit of a weird game in the 1st half with both teams missing wide open sitters.
Like two yards off the line sitters...
We changed it up at half and must say Coach Kenno with a fired up performance on the wing to raise it up for us.
Man of the Match - Atta boy.
Moving the big lard ass up front onto the bench and putting Wilkie up there also helped.
Immensely...
He bagged two I think...
Nice to have Michaud out as well last night from a lengthy spell away.
Kudos to Sikh.
They had like a dozen guys and fought it out admirably.
Also, very nice of Sarb (sp?) up front who came in the changeroom after to see how Tony was doing after stitching him in the face on a challenge.
An unfortunate episode and we know you all too well mate and know it was not intentional.
The Masters Cup round robin is complete and after 3 weeks of some very important Cup matches, 8 of the 12 teams move onto the Quarters. Now you can't lose, winner of the Cup moves onto the Provincials.
The Quarter Final DRAW is now complete after today’s games in Masters Cup- Quarter Finals will be played on the weekend of Feb 27- Mar 1
Game 1 Delta Metro Utd vs. Aldergrove Utd John Oliver Park Fri 7.30pm
Game 2 Abbots Anc Mariners vs. SFC Rangers Mouat TURF Sat 4pm
Game 3 PAU White vs. LUFC All Blacks Sth Surrey Ath #6 Sun 10am
Game 4 Mission Blues vs. PAU Blue Mission Sportsplex Fri 7.30pm
Some big matches in the quarters, but I think that Rangers and PAU White have the best chance to advance, both playing Masters B teams, and they will meet each other in the finals if there is no upsets.
The winners of Game 1 and Game 4 will meet in the other semi. So it is starting to get interesting in the FVSL Masters now, it is about time.

In League play, it is coming down to the final 2 games, and it looks like Mission is a lock for 1st or 2nd, good enough for a BC spot, with PAU White, Delta, and Mighty Rangers battling for the other spot in league play. There are going to be a couple good teams watching the Provincials this year.
Rangers have both PAU's, and both games are possible must wins, its crunch time now.
