Yah, If I was Croatian, I would be a little bit disappointed with couple of calls.....especially the penalty kick. However, Brazil in the first half was much better though Croatia still looked dangerous at times too. Brazil's backline did not look good at all........

Opening game with the whole world watching , why wouldn't you appoint the best referee? FIFA is losing credibility.
Good for Brazil, but you have to feel sorry for Croatia, they were shafted.
Why was Croatia's goal disallowed?

Only watched the condensed rerun but from what I could see the better team won the game but Croatia got robbed of a result. I hate diving and can't see how anybody can support it and the disallowed goal was harsh to say the least.

Unless Brazil get favorable refereeing the whole way I don't see them winning it all.

CMR is shockingly bad in this game. They are playing like they don't like each other and or have a clue what to do.
they are to reliant on set pieces were they use there size advantage.

Didn't see the first half but Mexico was much better than Cameroon in the 2nd half... Nice luxury to be able to bring Chicharito on as a sub. Some decent defending by Mexico too in the last 10 minutes against a team that was physically much stronger than them.

Heard that around a dozen CSA folks are in Brazil to enjoy the tourney. I was told that some are there to attend meetings and others to learn how to run a World Cup so we can host in 2028.
