Apparently the 'sand based' fields in Richmond are open this weekend.

I actually haven't seen Kinsmen for awhile... normally I would say that our game would be cancelled for sure this weekend, but lately it seems N Van has left their parks open in the dodgy weather.

In any event, I'll post what the status is here as soon as the parks board updates the info line.

Vancouver Parks this weekend

Too many to list that are closed but the main ones that jumped out were Hillcrest, Adanac NW (?), and McBride.

N Van Parks this weekend

Most are open except for Cleveland, Blueridge, and a couple of others I've never heard of. Apparently if there is snow on the ground, the fields should be considered closed. There is also a high likelihood that if it rains heavily, the fields will be closed in the morning.

What is open this Weekend

The forecast is calling for very cold weather (minus 10) this weekend and next week, so I wonder what games will be on.

If it does get really cold we will all be racing for indoor soccer.

Just got an email that as of right now, the surrey/peg match for tomorrow is on unless there is an early phone call tomorrow.

It's 10:00 AM and in Burnaby, it has just started to snow... Doesn't look good for the weekend.

Yup

Drank 20 raw eggs did 300 sit up's and then went for a run at Cloverdale (sorry max) and 2 of 3 pitches were under water. (lower fields) We do have acsess to the upper field now and it didn't look to bad.

Management has told us that there is a field inspection tonight and then again tomorow morning. (10:00ish) That's all I know. Scoop KNVB is on it and will update this evening. In between push up's and squat jumps.

My guess is it will be off. But you never know.
