piss take....

As much I don't like Man. United, they are absolutely taking the piss out of Leceister with some brilliant football. The quality of their one touch and two touch style is second to none when they are in form. Unfortunately for Leceister, they are in form today.

Great Goal

Kevin Phillips from Naill(sp) Quinn, What a screamer:D

Somedays I think Phillips deserve the starting nod beside Owen for the national team. That may have been the best goal of the year (not taken from a free kick).

Barthez ttp'ing on poor Muzzy

Captain:

Don't forget Barthez taking the piss on poor Muzzy Izzet and an even more gullible referee. That was a true all-Barthez, all-ManUtd kind of arrogance. Nice save too.

It should have been a goal

Barthez and United are lucky that the ref is a complete moron. He blew his whistle and Izzut put the ball in the back of the net. Off a normal free kick that goal would have stood. The advantage should be to the offensive player and the goalie should be prepared at all times!!

Lean give your head a shake

Lean,

The ref is to make sure the keeper is ready then blow the whistle for the kick to be taken. Think about it, what you are saying if the ref calls a p.k. on the keeper and he goes to protest, (as we all do) the player can slot the ball then. You should put a little more thought into your posts. If that were to ever happen to us you would blow a gasket.

Animal no more sunday beers for you

Animal,

Keep up the Ranger slagging and you will not be getting any more "bringing the cooler to your room on Sundays":D :D

My point on the Barthez anticts(sp) are that the ball had already been given to the player from the ref and the rest of the two teams were already lined up for the peno. This was well after the United players had their little whinging session with the ref and he cleared the box of players. Barthez was just trying to show up Izzut, the ref and make a mochary of the game. One other note, as you have on more than one occasion looked to take advantage of a quick free kick, I would think you would agree with me that the benifit should be for the attacking side.

Its O.K for us though

Lean,

How many times have I used these antics and used it to our advantage, this is usually o.k with you. I now have even started going to the sideline to pretend to talk to the coach and you have never complained, you would complain if you didn't like it. The player has a definite advantage and this just a keepers way to mount the pressure, if the player can't handle it (especially at that level) he shouldn't be taking it.

I heard a rumour that Osama Bin Laden is an Arsenal supporter. I know that 'Spurs' are also called 'The Yids' but that is a bit much.

He also drinks Heini's

The beer maker is very upset at this fact, that they have come out and said that they do not support terrorism in any way.

I will not be drinking any more Heini's if Bin Laden enjoys them, and if I find out he also enjoys sex, then the sex is out too.

Bin Laden used to attend the Arsenal games when he lived in London.
As long as he doesn't support Man U.

Fowler to Leeds

Fowler will be transfering to Leeds United. It is reported to be a 11 million pound fee. It should be interesting to see who sits on the bench at Leeds with Vaduka, Smith, Keane and Fowler. Maybe they should play 3 up front:D :D

The fans at Anfield are going to go nuts:rolleyes:

Fowler...

goes to Leeds and Dwight Yorke to Anfield.

Very Daring!

Lean,
I think you are putting it mildly that the Kop will go nuts. I think they go fcuking ballistic, to see their prodigal son go across the Pennines just to recieve a Man Utd player. Nuts, Yeah I'm sure.

Red is also the colour of blood:eek:

Lean,

You forgot about Harry Kewell, as well. But Kewell and the Gang will be dwindling with Viduka going to Inter.....erm of Milan and Alan Smith off to a juvenile detention center.

Regardless, they are looking like a young side who could dominate like Man Ure has in the years to come.

You heard it here first.

Kewell out wide

Buckfast,

I think O'Leary likes having Kewell out wide, he plays the David Ginola role for Leeds and creates bags of chances for the front runners.

This is a position that seems to be loaded with talent through out the premership...David Dunn - Blackburn, Ryan Giggs - ManU, Kewell - Leads, and Pires - Arsenal to name a few.

To everyone,

Who would you pick for your best lineup from the EPL???

I do agree Leeds has a strong young contingent. one player that seems to be forgoten all to often is the young keeper Paul Robinson, I think he should be starting now, Nigel Martyn is over the hill. Paul played brilliant football last year. As far as starting forwards Smith, although a hot head, should be starting or at least receiving a fair amount of playing time.
On another note england will do well in the World Cup, however the lack of a strong Keeper will spell there doom, just like the last 2 Cups. Seaman looks like a seventies porno star with his long hair and that ugly thing under his nose, oh yeah and he is over the hill and is not an international quality goalie. England hasn't had one for a while.

Cheers,
Lawts:)
