How can the mighty lions be sitting in 5th place in such a weak league?I mean all we ever heard from them(expecially in aldergrove)was come on over to a real division. We come on over,
and they shite the bed all over this weak cat division.(that is weak according to them.)Poor john g,he must be running the shite out of them!

Lost Shirt?

Has anyone seen a Delta Lions shirt? It has been missing for a while now not sure since which game. It seems to come off now and then when one of the lions score a goal.Last seen Delview park waving in the air with an unfit guy holding it. If seen contact Lion. Thank You.

Lions 1 - storm 4

Simply put , we got out worked. We came out very flat and didn't play simple stuff. Definately the worst we have played all year. We still created some chances but couldn't finish. Our midfield, which has been our strongest area, was very poor. We gave them too much time and space on the ball. But the season is still young and there is plenty of time to turn things around.

Yes I heard about that from Neil at the league office, we agreed to reschedule the match, My best wishes to whomever was involved.

Please young Lions prove to us that you can get up for more than Highlander games and silky saddle night at Roosters. I realize that your "tainted" victory last year might have been the jewel in your crown, but come on you can't possibley be as bad as your record indicates.

please young lions...

Well, mostly young!!!! It seems that a lot of fans are concerned about the Lions. I my humble opinion, yes Oscar I am humble, I don't think that we have been out played this year. We have definitely been out scored but we have had numerous opportunities to finish games and haven't come through. When the breaks start going our way, hopefully soon, the Lions will be back near the top. It's a long season and with 3 games against each side it will be interesting to the end. But what if we do turn it around , what will people on this thread talk about. If any one is interested, Milhouse, I can give a seminar on dog grooming tips, seeing as how the National Specialty is around the corner. No, I will not be missing any games this time as the schedule was given out far in advance!!!!!

Hey Cheddar this is a soccer site not one of Balsa's porn sites where they talk about beastial sexual positions such as the National Specialty. I suppose that next we'll be hearing from Tim Kjellllbotneiont about his video recording of a horse ejaculation that lasted 10 minutes. Where the hell are the administrators on this?

Back to soccer, I have to concur with Kickit7 (by the way that concurrence is an unusual occurrence) and suggest that both the Highlanders and Lions need an adrenaline boost that can only come from playing each other. LION please note that I said playing each other not playing with each other (though I still carry fond memories of our one night of sin together that we called "video editing"). Perhaps your Lord of the Lions (Mr. G.) will consider a game for a weeknight?

Here's hoping both teams pull our collective heads out of our arses and win convincingly on the weekend.

and the Oscar goes to...

PAU 2 GEU 0
PAU finished there chances,GEU did not. Geu did not play well today and for some reason that is becoming too normal. Any time you let a rather large human get a breakaway and he has time to think about placing the shot without much pressure someones not doing there job.Not to worry it's only one loss or is it four:(

Langley - Whalley

Whalley 2 - Langley 0, reasonable game to watch. Chances were were in favor of Whalley but they did get hemmed in their own end a few times, langley just didnt capitalize. Game almost could have been a draw as the scoreing came in minute # 3 and minute 70, so far apart I almost forgot the score. Whalley scored on a nice Corner Kick Header and a blast from the 18. Referee called it evenly but was a bit of a chump. (though I gotta give him a break hes at least Nice). lol

I had a hard time seeing and remembering his #, it had maybe 5 large digits in it only covering half his back:eek: , and the shirt was 3 man tent size. That is all I can remember.

Shades of RF walking past TheRob like he was standing still last year.

Looks like things having changed much in the back at GEU. :D ;)

Girth, Dont you fing it hard to believe that a man that large must be going so slow you must of had so much time to concentrate on his back. You should of made a mental note, "how has this big bastard had a scoring chance" maybe to not let it happen again and again and again.......you get my point??

Whalley has the heavy weight of the league, some 300 pounder, but shite he scored on Langley I think so what the heck, instead of just fat, hes a fat bastard.

Belfast,
We felt sorry for the guy, he was so far offside so many times we had to keep his hopes up.
Not only that, it pumps up our egos when our defensman can let someone get past them and then catch up to them too.

What an ego boost.
Our defenseman were so slow that we thought we would put them in the premeir game to give you guys a chance to score and look what happened, you did! And won the game.

Don't say GEU never helped you to a win.

Yoda thinks PAU owes GEU one.

Easy on the fat bastards

;)

Actually the guy you speak of is an unbelievable player.
You leave him open anywhere shy of the 25 yard line, you're in deep trouble.
The guy has a cannon and he's very skillful.
And, you'd be surprised, he ain't that slow either.

It won't be the last time he scores on anyone in this league.

It'll be the last time he scores on us:mad:

TheRob and him had a decent little battle going on Sunday. War of words, little pushes in the back, several little whacks on the shin. Even a ball thrown towards ones lower abdominal area. All in good fun. I look forward to our next match.
