LOL@ART.......

Thanks for keeping the thread going Art.

Too bad you are not in the country to help us out this weekend!! We need a ton of players to spread around the grief, suffering and ridicule that goes along with our impending 11-0 loss.... instead we will simply have to drown in our beer cooler...

Ya you guys were all over us the first 25. I thought we were in for another loss. We somehow managed to turn it on and played our best half of the year in the second. If you guys can keep in together for a full 90 and get your strikers goin, you will give Inter a good game. Actually never mind, Inter will have a tonne of momentum going after the destruction they lay on lady dynamo tonight.

Young Guns prem 2 contribute a couple bucks to Bcuniteds campaign for 2011/12 relegation with a 4-0 win

BC United 0 - LUFC Young Guns 4

Only had 11 for this one. Score should have been 4-3 or 3-3 though. We missed two absolute sitters and 1 cross bar.
One chance: forward 1 on 1 with the goalie in the 18, just needs to pick a corner......shoots it right at the GK. It was harder to miss that shot than to make it.

YGs had pretty much everyone on their registered list for this one. YGs are a good team, passed well, controlled most of possession, pressured when they didn't have the ball. Really exposed some fitness and skill gaps.
I found it fun playing them, though got the impression that some of these guys might play Premier or Div.1. I don't know for certain if they do or not, but some of them seemed like they play or could play at a higher level than Div.2.

Anyways, it's definitely gonna be interesting how the LUFC and NFS teams, even Surrey, will look after the transfer deadline as both LUFC and NFS Premier teams look strong contenders to clinch a Provincial A spot this year.

i cant believe there is going to be a relegation battle in div 2 this year

thought for sure marga was goin down

They will but who joins them is the question, bc, stolo, or wr? WR win over Marga, and stolo loss makes BC's game next week against Marga probably the deciding factor.

Inter 4-1 Dynamo
Good set of guys, worked hard, no cheap stuff, no whining, and the score doesn't totally reflect the game.
We picked up 2 injuries, one what was hopefully just a sprained ankle and one unfortanute broken collar bone that may need surgery, bad enough to keep him overnight, hoping Pauly gets better soon and is back for cup and provinicials.

or make him come back in the morning would sound more realistic, just relaying message. not 100% sure, either or its more than just a broken collarbone
