Ginge, you do realize that on a money spent to Euro Championships won ratio, ManU don't look too good, do they?

Pretty stupid red card Rooney took in the Man. United game. I personally think the first yellow was weak but getting the second yellow for clapping in the ref's face was well deserved. Man. United played 10 men for most of the second half. Oh well, good result for Man. U.

Roberto Mancini has stated that he will be resting a number of his top players for tomorrow's CL match versus Rangers. Obviously he doesn't see Rangers as much of a threat and is placing a great deal of importance on the Scudetto (big game versus Juventus this weekend) which Inter hasn't won in a long time.

How much does this change things and who will be dropped for the Rangers game? Adriano? Veron? Figo?

Veron is out of this tie, he was sent off last game.

Here are the 19 players he did call up. I wouldnt be surprised to see a Cruz, Recoba striking pair. And maybe Solari in for Figo.

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar Soares

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 13 Zé Maria , 16 Giuseppe Favalli, 23 Marco Materazzi, 25 Walter Samuel, 33 Pierre Wome

Midfielders: 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Luis Figo , 8 David Pizarro, 18 Cristian Kily González, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 21 Santiago Solari, 55 Daniel Maa Boumsong

Strikers: 9 Julio Ricardo Cruz, 10 Adriano, 20 Alvaro Recoba, 30 Obafemi Martins

Alex McLeish apparently...

No, that would be after the Inter/Rangers game...

BTW, Mancini is also reported as saying Rangers will repeat as SPL Champions.

That was on Rangers.co.uk today so I believe it.

Almost forgot -

Still though:

COME ON RANGERS!

It should be Import Milan.
Maybe 5 Italians total. Maybe 3 play most.
Maybe they should change there name.

Forza Milan

FT Inter Milan (Ita) 1 - 0 Rangers (Sco)

Flattering result for Rangers. Inter should have won that match 4-0. Martins goal in the 2nd minute was NOT offside, when the ball was kicked he was in line with the last defender, Cruz missed a rigore(peno for those non Italians) and Solari missing the WIDE open goal.

Oh well 3 points and top of the group, tough game to watch, that huge stadium empty, must have been tough to play.

Funny how interpretations are from the I-Ties sometimes.
'How could we only have beaten them by one goal?'
'It should have been ten nil'
Following your comments of the recent Scotland/Italy match at Hampden, ahem, I think I'll wait until I see it for myself tonight.

Zenga in all due respect the Rangers web site is saying we were robbed of a draw.
Whatever - They're just as biased as you anyway...
Also, the UEFA site didn't seem to report a massive piss-taking by Inter either.
A not bad result in your barn period.
In your empty fcuking barn by the way.
The missed peno probably should have made it 2 bagel I guess but still.

What I'm amazed about is the Artmedia Bratislava result.
Knocking off Porto basically puts the writing on the wall for the Pork Chops.
And their backs against it....
Porto will almost have to nick points off of Inter to guarantee them getting through now I would think or full points against Rangers and Bratislava next time in with the Slovaks and the Scots splitting points.

If we could get the full 6 points against Artmedia and pull out a draw in Porto, you lot might be painfully listening to me for some time now.
