I heard today ROMA won 7-0. That means they will be climbing higher in the rankings. Kudo's to Roma for playing very well or was it Coveside only showing up to the game with 8 players? 
PS: Mr. Azzuri can you please tell us the secret in the sudden rise to the top of Bonefish's Combined Ranking?
PSS: Sir M, if your in vegas can you put a brownie on Roma for me for finishing in the TOP 5 of the rankings this year. Thanks

I walked down there today and caught about 15 minutes of this one. To be fair to Coveside, they had ten players, Roma had about 20 or 21. I did see one goal where a Coveside player gave away the ball in a very bad area which resulted in about a 50 yard uncontested breakaway for the Roma player. It was also very good to see Cside17 looking healthy.

Fantabulous if Roma does climb higher in the standings it wouldn't be because of our play! Probably more sore due to Bomefish's bias towards NSCL clubs. just like the power rankings and Sir M's bias towards the FVSL! As for today Coveside was short a player and Sir M is correct in that it was good to see Cside17 looking healthy. I actually thought he was going to put a pair of boots on to help out his side who were playing a man down!! Sir M love the hercules video,I actually called the number as the missus wanted me to order a few of them, only problem is the number is now out of service!!

The Watchman

I blame the fact that Sir M has added The Watchman onto his staff. The Watchman never leaves his Island hovel to give him proper reports. All Sir M sees is this:
"In the Valley tonight, the Castilians played like absolute magicians against some other team - not sure who. They got to ball to my lad...er...to JTL who was brilliant throughout. Have you heard they plan to name a trophy after him? Well they should anyway.
Oh...and the rest of the league is rubbish."
I think the Wee Fat Monkey is still perturbed I never played him when he tried to be a Castilian.

Made some changes to the league index and a correction to the formula(Previous formula allowed negative numbers which does not work when applying an index/weighting).
League Index(Higher is better): VMSL-2.0, FVSL-1.35, VISL 1.15, NSCL 1.0

Most of the League Play is in the books however there are few games remaining that will be left for one final installement of the BMCR.
Notables
-Surrey United Breaks into the Top10 with some strong and consistent play.
-A depleted NAFC falls out of the Top 10 with poor consecutive results
-A 9 rank jump by North Delta is mostly by virtue of feeding on bottom dwellers.

Yoda, if you have a problem with Bonefish's, BMCR, than you can always go check your Valley stats out on Sir M's Top 20 rankings!! Better yet, get the Watchman to come up with some sort of Ranking system! Don't worry I'm pretty sure he would still have mighty Poco in the top spot!!

Both standings are just fine with me. It's all just a matter of opinion really until you get your name on the trophy. Couldnt care where we are, just curious as to how those particular teams ended up where they are.
Now leave me alone, I'm printing a jumbo sized copy of the FVSL Masters standings for my wall

The two teams are so close in terms of Power Ranking points but PAU gets the nod because of their superior goal differential. NDAU on the other hand will be reeled in easily if South Delta finish out strong. Not sure if there are any head to head matches between the Delta teams....
