High five!
Greencaps got awarded a penalty and missed. Greencaps player steps in the box during the penatly and ref awards a retake. They scored making it 2-1. Should have went into extra time and could have been anyones game. Horrible reffing by a bad ref who looks like dana white but uglier.

At this game referee was a valley referee has not done any vmsl games
He was very consistent with calls it was a retake
Blue Devils could never have won this game
Fitness was not there nor was there finishing
They only would be mid level vmsl div 2
Blue Devils with a few hot heads hard for there coach to keep them under control
On. The whole he did a good job with the players he has

word on the street is that they had a player playing that was also signed to a fvsl div.4 team, and both teams were using him all season. not sure whether the coaching staff of either team knew this though. the bacardi boys should be choked. feel bad for them they got screwed.

This is down to BC Soccer the amount of fees they collect from youth and adult players in BC
Must be in the hundreds of thousands
All they need is a full time IT person to have photo and I/d for all players in BC
Check names of players Registered in there competition

Got to be really good...Div 4 fvsl is high quality
Been chatting with BC Soccer about it. No-one "in power" knew he was registered in both leagues until the protest went in. Will be interesting to see if 2A runners-up 13th Legion now lodge a complaint with VMSL. You have to think they will.
If the Burnaby lads also didn't know then really shitty for them. They were by far the better team v FVRD and played some great stuff all season.

My question would be, how impactfull was the player? Was he the type of player that would have an immediate impact on a match, or another role player that can be interchanged?
It's possible that the team didn't know, but unfortunately that doesn't absolve them. Shame on the player, who obviously did know, and no way can claim that he didn't know the rules.
This other team? Bacardi? They must be PISSED by how this turned out. That, or having a good laugh, because the soccer gods had final say here.
