Pachos or Pachos Supreme?
Sage: I hear ya man.
I've said it a zillion times on here, check some of my very first postings here on TTP.
I'm always getting heat for it.
Way back when, you could only make 5 subs a match in Premier.
This would kill our team - we have a lot of #'s as you well know.
Plus we were an OK Division 1 side many moons ago, not as strong as we are now in my humble opinion.
The move would for sure back then not be justified.
You do remember don't you?
You do remember dominating that division few years back?
Fcuk we were the perenial (sp?) brides maids back then to you lot.
Hey, I'm saying we have a formula for fun and I think it spills out some nice by-products.
I'm not confident of our abilities actually.
I am at the Division 1 level maybe but not Premier.
I think week in week out as you've said, we would struggle at the top tier.
Maybe top 4 who knows.
We are kind of old and we would like someone else in our club to be in that league.
A bit of torch passing I guess.
That's why we went into CAT to support a premier program.
I don't think we beat up on teams in Division 1, as I've said to you before, I don't think Division 1 is all that weak.
Maybe the CAT division to a certain degree because of a couple of teams, but not the other side.
Plus, every game I feel teams gun for us and want to smoke us therefore we don't end up beating teams up.
Check the scores - Maybe some blowouts but not a ton.
In summary, we get the best of both worlds.
Everyone plays in the league and gets ample playing time including yours truly.
Then, we check our egos at the door and rally around the Pakenham cause.
We get to compete against the best, not get beat up as much in the short tourney, and get a shot at making the BCs, which in the last two years has been a lot of fun and yes, is an added bonus.
