MMMMM, for $8 you get a 3 day old bun, a meat patty that looks (and tastes.....i used to play ice hockey) like a puck, as well as safeway curly fries. What a deal!
On top of that, you get excellent service!

Gurps-"Burger with no...."
Worker-"Next!"

Further, as an added bonus, everytime you eat at the SFU cafeteria, you lose one day of your life due to increase artery blockage.

All in all, a great deal!

As a side story, i actually ordered a burger once at 10:58 am and they made me wait till 11:00 to make it. They said it was company policy not to make burgers before 11. The funny thing was a girl ordered breakfast right after and they told her it was over.

I ended up at this little soup / sandy place in New West- the "Old Thyne Deli" on 12th and about 8th.

Three-cheese tortellini soup with thinly sliced corned beef sandwich.

Perfect day for Lisa- err, coffee- but didn't get back from my meetings early enough to catch her before she closed. I bet she was wearing a white bikini top and loin cloth today.

Zaurinni- tell your mom I need a bag lunch next week. I'll drive down to commercial drive to pick it up, too.

Good news Jinky your toxic mushroom and "stuff" burger is back at Wendy's. I admittedly had one today just to prove I can still stomach the worst fast food can throw at me and still make it through the day un-bothered.

Not half bad really. Fries sucked though.

Screw - we have a four term year Down Under which results in 2 weeks of holidays every 10 and then 6 weeks over the summer. Needless to say, I'm celebrating the time with Tiner on her side of the country. For lunch, we had bbq chicken rolls. It was very hard to catch the buggers.....
