PCOV 2-1 Westside

Pretty ugly game as expected for the first game of the season as both teams very short on the bench with guys missing. Thought Westside was the better team in the first half and had the 1-0 lead going into half. 2nd half, Mike Gomes slotted 2 for us for the win. Pretty clean game and both sides had their chance at whining when they were down a goal. Nontheless, nice to get some rust off and looking forward to the season.

Nice that the league took the time to organize the schedule accordingly and give us a Bye the weekend we are away. Oh wait.........

PCOV 1-0 MF

Pretty even game last night. Much improved MF/Sapp team that will cause havoc for many teams. The score could have gone either way. Steve London made some great saves for us while it was 0-0. It was scoreless at half and we slotted the winner in the second half for the win. MF/Sapp pushed hard in the end for the equalizer but we managed to hang on for the win. On to the bye week.

I missed the 1st half as PCOV was up at the half 1-0. Columbus tied the game 1-1 in the 2nd and from there it was back and forth with no clear cut chances. Overall, pretty clean game. On to West Van.
