Just heard Sapp and Richmond tied 2-2.

In our game, in the pissing rain, we came out flying and slotted 3 in the first half. We got another on a pk and MF got their lone goal late in the game to make the final 4-1. It seemed like MF were missing bodies and atleast 3 more injuries during the game with guys coming off. Great result for us.

Columbus took advantage of a defensive break down about 15-20 minutes into the game....WV was the better team after that but didn't get the result. WV's chances of a league cup just got slimmer. For some unknown reason, Columbus took a red after the final whistle had blown...pretty entertaining watching the wops trying to calm each other down...

D Nott and Nico were at centerback. Columbus was missing a few guys but gutted out a win and weathered a lot of pressure in the 2nd half. Vito Lore got a yellow in the last minute from Ernesto (possibly the worst ref in BC) and when someone from Columbus yelled from the sidelines, Vito was blamed and got another yellow. Ugly game but still 3 points.

I remember a game last year where said official was about 30 yards behind the play and called Bunny off side when he was on by a couple paces. Bunny stopped, looked skyward and threw his arms in the air, no swearing, nothing. Straight red and three games for that.

Be careful, WC, you can get suspended for saying something about or to a ref.

Good point CS, I retract my statement and will simply say that the level of officiating last night was as poor as the quality of play but none of the players were being paid to be there! If a player has a bad game, they get subbed....if a ref has a bad game, they put $60 in their jeans and get a phone call to do it all over again next weekend! Lack of accountability frustrates me.

Also, if you can get suspended for saying something to a ref, Besty was close to 5 year suspension last night. His frustration in the Scotland loss to wales and WVs lack of finishing on gidio had him wound up and in fine verbal form!
