Eagles what are your thoughts?

My thoughts? If the Horses are lucky to get by the first match, they face a Cliff team that is near the top of the table in Div. 2. This will be a good test to see if the Horses will be competitive in Div. 2 next year. The other top Div. 3 teams - Rainforest their success will determine if they have Xausa and the Franks boys playing. The Wolves are playing well right now and will be a tough team to compete against. Roma look to have an easier draw and should advance to the quarter finals. This tournament will be a good test for these 4 teams. Also, Westside teams are always tough in cup competition no matter what division or cup it is! Good luck to all teams

First two rounds announced!! The weekend of Feb. 18th then the following weekend for round of 16. If the Horses are lucky enough to get past the first two rounds they will be missing some key people during the last two weeks of March due to Spring Break on the North Shore. Not sure how it can be viewed as "excuses" We are 3rd division team that will play a top of the table 2nd division team in the second round (if we get past the 1st round). In essence, we the underdog for round 2.

I believe that this one has now been scheduled at 2PM on Sunday at Vantech turf. This should be an interesting game.

This should be a great game. Playing on turf will definitely help us out!! This will be match pitting guys that played against each other 20 years ago.

Horses are healthy for the weekend and no suspensions. This will be a great test for the team.

We hope to get some support out from our club, cheer us on to victory!

Eagles what happened in your game against Cliff last night?

Eagles is still trying to thaw out. WVFC Flying Horses 2 - Cliff Ashfords 0. Freezing cold and pissing the whole game. Goat with a cracker from 30 yards out in the 1st to give the Flying Horses the lead into the half. Canada's Greatest Athlete then banked one off Coho's shoulder blades for the 2nd. Overall a great team game, and we should of had more. Bakes earned Coach of the Year tonight, and funny thing was that Coach of the Year was there to support with My Gal Gail and Anna Banana. You know you've hit it big time when you 15 of you are drinking pints in the can at Byrne Creek. Very much like the changerooms at Ambleside. On to Bby Wolves, which should be a good match.
