0-1 (10'), 1-1 (25'), 2-1 (35'), 2-2 (70')

Both teams managed to wrangle up enough guys on the night. It looked like the Idiots were hampered a little bit more than Sapp. We chewed up the soggy park pretty good.

There was a lot of TTPers out there.
Captain Shamrock did not make his season debut.
Justwanttoplay hammers it off the cross bar with 10 to go on a PK. Fantabby would have been drooling last night seeing Bohica play a full 90. Ppl_mvr back from a knee injury after 8 weeks due to Planks' tackle.
Was T-Idiot injured? He was shocking!
Deuce ran miles covering Favs and Sandbagger. RCIU's MotM.
DD3 hammered home a nice goal off a Sapp givaway to tie it.
Wab's shot cleared off the line by Wally with 5 to go.

At the end of the night, it was a good run with one unfortunate injury to Zoo. Out 3-4 weeks with a hammy pull.

We should have won.

Taking lessons from you I guess. I was pretty bad most of the game. Even my shot at the end was miss-hit - knee, shin, foot. My feet were wet & frozen. We should move to summer.
BTW, who was the new signing up front in black shorts? Couldn't you give the poor guy the tight whites like DD3's?

The new kid upfront was Knuckles...that was the first time he touched a soccer ball after a year of rehab from the torn Achilles. Signed for us that day

Decent result for us with the patchwork lineup. We had two guys who hadn't played one minute all year, one guy who hasn't seen a field in 3 months, not one of our regular starting back four and our coach played 20 minutes (must of been the shout from the middle of the pitch that got him in the game)

The City of New West will not be happy when they look at the field.

WAB, lets get a united front going to get Rene or Docherty or Walks, Captain, or even Angelo himself would work, to officiate the final. I don't know about you guys, I would just like to have one person in the middle who is capable, because I have not seen that lately for our side for at least five or six games now. Believe it or not, over the last couple of months Miro was the best we have seen (I think it was vs Sapp)! The last time we had a good ref was at CAP when Docherty was in the middle. And it was pretty lean before then.

Actually, not having someone who forgets to check the players boots, and then sends off a player for improper footwear and convinces the league to give him three games off would be a step in the right direction. Or maybe not having a ref who actually is the only person at the park that doesn't notice a PK going in would be good.


Here's hoping.

PS, now that I am in a grumpy mood, I hate that soccerresort video or whatever it is at the top of the screen everytime I go to post.
