So with the Romania vs. Guildford game being declared a tie because, well both teams wanted it, which is a novel new way to decide soccer matches, Rino's have been dumped from the dizzy heights of 7th to the dismal depths of 8th place.

To add insult to a very minor injury, this is by 1 goal. So by virtue of Romania being handed 2 wins and a tie, they get 7pts, and then curiously one of the games is awarded as 6-0 bringing the GD to +9 on ABD games, and putting them ahead of us by a single goal!!

This is a blatant conspiracy against Rino's, perpetrated by the upper echelons of the league committee, with the sole purpose of breaking the resolve of our fearless leader @SmartCoach. Well it will fail, we will rise, and we will reclaim our 7th place finish next season!

Not to burst your bubble but this is the VMSL- goal difference doesn't mean jack.

Romania are actually ahead of you alphabetically given that "FC Romania" comes before "Rino's Vanc", so yes it is a league conspiracy.

You should be insisting that there be a one game playoff this weekend to determine 7th place.

Also given that there are 3 Rino's teams in the division next season, odds on a 7th place finish seem pretty decent.

Div 1 should operate a championship round for 2nd half of season...(top half RR and bottom half RR) There would be no meaningless games at the end of the season and the team(s) moving to Premier would be the more than likely to compete at the next level. Thoughts?

I think it's fine the way it is, they just need to make sure that make up games are completed midweek in a more timely fashion instead of stacking them all at the end of the season.

Next season you guys will have a 25% chance of getting promoted (based on 3 teams in the division).

Assuming all teams are equal, as you have, Rino's would have a 25% chance of winning the league, we have a 50% chance of promotion seeing as there are 2 spots.

Unfortunately we have a 75% chance of getting at least 1 relegated...

But luckily all teams aren't equal, so it's all bollocks
