5-0 for Sporting

I thought we played some entertaining soccer today. Lots of passing and keeping the ball moving on the ground.

Goal scorers were Ryan Dormer, Steve Dormer, Carlos Batista, Tony Fonseca, and JB.

Onto Argentina next week.

We have an exhibition versus Sikh Temple on tuesday at Queen's Park at 8pm.

As Fil said, a solid 2-0 victory for West Van over the league leaders today at Adanac. Inter had brief stretches of good play but never really seemed to find their groove on the day, which had a lot to do with the workrate put in by our back four and central midfield. Won the majority of 50/50s and ate up a lot of the loose balls and knockdowns - usually a good recepie for success. Solid effort put forth throughout the side today.

It should be noted that the game was well officiated - in particular, a good bit of judgement on waving off PK claims by both sides during the second half. Showed some consistency, which was nice to see.

You can thank knvb for waking the Sleeping Giant

knvb stirred the pot with WestVan on here, and now they are on fire.
Great win for them, to make it really tight for the middle of the pack on Side A.
Khalsa and Slurrey with 13 points, and Trollers with 12.

Who scored for WestVan, it would be nice to know before we go to Ambleside on Sunday.

Doesn't Matter who socred....

......could have come from anywhere.

Just show up to play against West Van....match their work ethic and you wil beat them. Dont match their work ethic and expect to lose.
Simple really.

Coming from Recco's who PASSES the Buck onto his Keepers

When really he should sort out his own coaching abilities.

Sid should have left you locked in that dressing room.
