This is for all the Flyers' fans on TTP. All three of us. I will keep everyone up to date on the top team in the NHL. To start, we may as well show our position in the standings and of course, the fantastic logo.....

That looks like about 4/5ths of a logo to me. 4/5 also being the Flyers final position in the East when the season is over. Is there a seniors league the Flyers can play in. They are a geriatric unit. i'd like to have the Metamucil/ Prune juice contract to supply the club. talk about raking in the dough.

Actually, you still haven't take my bet yet. What gives?

BlazeArmy,

You know I could use that prune juice/Metamucil call against you, don't you? But that would be too easy......;) :p

What is the actual bet? Who is playing who? Hard to bet when the bruins are not beating the phillies straight up. But tell me the details anyways.?

Bruins/Flyers who really cares?

The only question I have is how the hell did Parkhead get out from under Captain's desk to post something as pointless as this:
Second Best in the East behind the BRUINS.

Parkheadenoughsaid

This thread and its contents are simple moot

Go Canucks Go!!!

Guiness the only thing moot about this thread is that it started as a Flyers thread when clearly it shoud have been about the Bruins. Although once again your opinion means squat. But thanks for the imput anyways!

Stay the fcuk out of our thread, Guinness. Go support your team which has NEVER won a fcuking Stanley Cup. Kind of like Rangers NEVER winning a European Cup. :)

Come to think of it, I like the Bruins too. I remember the days when they had Terry O'Reilly, Stan Jonathan, Bobby Orr(of course), Peter McNab, Gerry Cheevers, Wayne Cashman, Rick Middeton, Jean Ratelle etc. They had a great Irish connection at the time when I moved from Ireland. I'm not going to bad mouth the Bruins ever. Except when they lose to Philadelphia and I win a case of beer from Parkputz.

The bet is simple. If the Bruins win or the game ends a tie(after overtime), you win the case of beer which Kagan owes me. If the mighty Flyers win, then I get 24 beer for next weekend, or I might just save it for the Club Ireland dance/fundraiser in December. :)

Go Flyers........

Mr. Liverpool,

Please stay out of my thread unless it is something good about the Flyers. Cheers.;) BTW, Dapo, do you follow hockey at all? I assume if you do, you're a Canucks fan?

What the hell happened there? Red Wings mostly along with the Bruins. I'll support the Canucks in the playoffs but the incessant putting of the canucks on a pedestal around Vancouver is a little grating. Much like most Flyer fans. Oops, I almost forgot something positive. I'm positive the Flyers will shite the bed in the playoffs. How's that?;)

That's better, Dapo, kind of. :)

As I stated earlier, the Flyers WILL beat New Jersey in the Eastern Conference final this year. New Jersey will knock Boston out while the Montreal Canadians fans watch all the playoff series without their team being involved in any of them. :wa:

BTW, I was hoping this thread would help Bucky and I get along again. If I'm not mistaken, Bucky is a Flyers fan too. Bucky, am I right? Can we rekindle what we once had? I would like to bury the hatchet, not to be taken literally of course.

Captain,

For all our differences (handsome v. homely, stylish v. ragged, etc.), I think it's the Mighty Flyers that will bring us together. God (please note the spelling) knows I've been searching long and hard for that common ground. Fastshow had made mention of a 1/2 hr session at Yang Dong's Turkish Steam Bath on E. Hastings, but let's pocket the $20 and bond through this fortuitous thread.

As it pertains to my commitment to the black and ORANGE, I'll be thinking about you while taking in the Flyers/Bruins game at.........the Wachovia Center.:D FCUKING NICE.

This will be followed up by the Eagles/Saints on Sunday.

Missing you.

Quality. Bucky, are you able to get photos for the thread. It would just make things more authentic. Take the $20 a put it on a Flyers/Eagles double. Put $10 on it for me(the tenner you owe me:p ) and when it wins, we'll hook up at the Rangers Supporters Club for a couple of pints. Where is it again? Enjoy the Flyers in their new black and RED uniforms. I must admit I like the Orange MUCH better than the third red jersey.......I never thought I would say that, but it is our common bond.

Allez Les Orange

Pictures it is, Captain. Don't you already have a wallet-size of me?

Don't have my digi. It's a very rare moment that I want a souvenir of my trip to Phila. Although the Flavor Flav look-a-like out front of Market Station deserved some attention.....from the local Constabulary.

Will panoramics of your's truly in the Kenny Linsman replica do? If so, check the post for Friday delivery. Naturally, this is subject to you covering the postage. ;) Otherwise, please subscribe to my website, www.smallbutangry, for more graphic poses.

BTW - the soiled Flyer Y-fronts are discounted so as to hit my November numbers.

Bring the noise,

Suga' Buckfast
