Alu vs TP

Alouette lucky to earn three points. Both teams looked terrible, but some how we managed to squeeze two past the goalie and walk away with the win. The last goal we scored was shot from 25 yards right at the goalie and he let it in through the five-hole. Granted, Slater has a hard shot, but Mill's should be making those saves at this level. Ah well, The win puts us back in third, but thats two games in a row where are team looks shocking!!!

Hopefully we get it back for a cup run!!!

I am glad to see someone else thinks Yoda is getting stiffed this year.

As far as I know the player you were asking about is OK but from what I have heard the tackle was a little late. Not necessarily dirty just late.

Typical Skytrain. 2 steps too late but 2 beers ahead.


I missed it because I was refuelling my finely tuned body with Subway assuming I would need to energize myself to go into the Premeir game late to get the game winner.

No luck. Coach must not have seen me under the umbrella.

Just like the last game, some of the geu players had to play the
game of their lives, oppose to some dominion players bringing the
game of their wives {eg. osame}, but even so they barely scaped with a point. Well done. Im still going to send you boys the parade route. As far as next weekend,I dont think dominion has to win or even tie, do they? {sliver is the stat guy}. We will beat pau the last week of the season to leave no doubt on who is the best team in the valley.

What the hell does your record over the last four games have to do with the comment of playing the game of your lives?

You guys must have had to play really well in order to tie PoCo. Explain what doing well over the last four games has anything to do with tying PoCo. You guys must have been praying to the gods for the result that you earned.

1. Am I wrong about the description of the second half....no
2. Am I wrong about the duration GEU spends in cup play.....no
3. No matter how bad a team mate played, even if he was a pull up from div 4, I would never say 'If we had another player in a specific position we would win', you win lose or tie with the squad you have on that day, plain and simple
4. If GEU had won Sunday, you would have all caught them at the local 7-Eleven buying lotto tickets
5. Excuses? Maybe Dude can fill you in on how I feel about excuses

What is it with you POCO guys?
If you beat a team then they never had a chance and you played your typical awesome game, but if a team ties or beats you, either you didn't have your best game or the other team got lucky.

That just sounds like inconsistent play to me. Which means you guys are ripe for the picken come cup time.

How come I always hear about all the guys POCO is missing before the game starts. Is it just so that when they tie or lose they can say, "I told you so", or " I knew that would happen because we didn't have our full team".
And how about that so caller "stellar" defense.
7 goals against in the last 3 games. Let in that many goals in a cup game and you can bet you'll get an early exit.

I finally got the call to one of the Premeir matches.
Absolutely a hell of a match tonight. The ladies found every hole in our defense and even with the presence of Scotty our strongest forward, we could still only manage 2 goals against them.

Next game, Thursday night, GEU vs Riverview Rowdies. Could be an interesting match due to the small pitch and nets.

I think we can pull off another win to keep the streak alive.

What are your thoughts Bert?
