Despite having to replace 5 starting seniors from the 2003 squad, the 2004 SFU Men's Soccer team is off to a promising start, compiling a 4-0-0 record to start the season.
Junior striker Andrew Corazza has 9 goals in the first 4 games of the season while senior midfielder Robbie Cairns has a goal and 4 assists thus far. Goalkeepers Raegyn Hall (SR) and Tyler Laing (SO) have combined for a 1.0 goals against average.
The next match for the Clan promises to be a stiff challenge. 2002 NCAA Division II National Champions Sonoma State roll into town for a match on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 7:00 pm. The match will be played at Burnaby's Swangard Stadium.
