I see the recent Rangers "rights issue" was less than a raging success.

Ironsides had hoped to raise 57 million quid but only managed 51 million. That's pretty impressive some of you might say. However you'd probably wish you hadn't when you find out that 50 million of it was Murray's own dosh.

Actual Rangers supporters managed to pony up a mere 1.1 million pounds,
700,000 of which will be going straight to the company which organized the shares issue. A company owned by who else? That's right, David Murray.

You really have to hand it to the guy, he actually convinced the Rangers support to pay him nearly a million quid to partially finance the debt he created and in the process he assumed 92% ownership of the Ibrox club.

Nice work if you can get it.

I'd love to meet up with ya Bucky and Guinness - but I've got plans. BTW JC - the missus is alright - it was more on the side of what she could hear as she sat beside me - first, Bob calls at 3:30am about the strippers, and then you chime in a half hour later and she hears you yelling something about hookers over the line to me. This is after me saying that I was missing not being there and that nothing goes on I try to be honest...honestly....

Oh well...potential lessons learned...I see two:
1) don't answer the phone after 3am from a stag while your missus is lying beside you..........or
2) never miss another stag ever again........
