Michael Ball's deal between Everton and Rangers was also finalized with Ball staying at Ibrox.

Also, the tub of goo from Wales signed an extension at Parkhead for another 3 three years. (I think)

Newcastle overpaid 8 million quid for Boumsong but don't go thinking all that money is going to Rangers. Boumsong knew he wouldn't be staying for very long. It was just a foot in the door and an opportunity to ensure that he got a huge chunk of his next transfer fee. After he and his agent get their share, not to mention LeHavre, Auxerre and David Murray, Rangers Football Club should be left with about a million of Newcastle's money. If I were a Geordie I would be going mental about The Beast being allowed to send more EPL cash to bail out his pal David Murray in return for more shoddy Rangers goods.
